@@saabkyle04 something i always have make we wondered you love gmc jimmy and sonomas kyle why have you never had a Typhoon or a gmc syclone on your channel? :)
I remember going to the dealer in 1988 to purchase an 89 S10 with my parents. It was a manual 2wd and had it for roughly 10 years. It was also the vehicle that I learned how to drive a manual the day before turning 13. Great memories and times. Would love another just for nostalgic sake.
That's a good friend to have. You can tell, instantly that he knows what he's doing. I've seen way to many guys, 'pretend' to know and just guess and make incorrect assumptions. Joseph clearly has his sh*t together. Nicely done.
Kyle went to Walt’s, I grew up in Lexington and it’s really cool you have been here, I’d like to run into you one day, ur the reason I like the square blazers, thxs for the good video content
I hear you there, I'm in the same boat with the 318 in my cordoba. Started with just doing a timing chain and now I'm doing heads and a cam only to find out I need springs for the heads I bought. Never ends.....
Wow! You have done some great work on that old Jimmy. I really appreciate your attention to detail. These restoration and engine swap videos are awesome!
Hopefully sooner rather than later! Was hoping to test fire the 240 at the end of this month but I don't think it's going to happen. Just too much going on.
Oh man, I've been watching and subscribed to this for months. The 94 GMC Jimmy is my first car. I LOVE this restoration. It sounds amazing after you got the starter shimmed and sounds like it did when I drove one. I miss that digital dash.
I know exactly what you mean with car projects taking for ever and much longer than you originally planned on. But that's just what it is when you want to make thinks right. You'll get there, the Jimmy looks awesome so far!
Nice work on the Jimmy. Clean engine install! Take your time with the 240sx. Work on it when your inspired. Things will go much smoother than when you try to push it : )
The check codes reminds me of early and late 90's Holden Commodore and the like you had to do the same thing with the paper clip and read the flashing lights on the dash I remember this from tech school and at work .lol
Oh I know, just didn't know what you meant haha. The battery was weak from sitting so long and the alternator wasn't hooked up so that would explain it haha.
My mother bought this Jimmy in '94, same color. She took it to Medic drug store and came back out to see two fine gentleman breaking into it. They told her to go back into the store, and she never saw it again. It was my favorite vehicle my mom ever bought.
That exhaust is nice EXCEPT where's the bolt together flanges so you can split it when you need to do transmission work? I wouldn't have been happy with a one piece unit,
My first car was a white '94 Jimmy SLT with black leather interior that I inherited from my grandpa after he died. I found it funny that almost all the problems you've found on your Jimmys I had with mine. I always wanted to refurbish my Jimmy to the level that you're doing, but I had to sell it because I didn't have that kind of money, and one thing after another kept falling apart on it. So I've thoroughly enjoyed watching you rebuild this Jimmy and look forward to more vids. Also, are you going to replace the plastic oil and washer fluid canisters? They look kinda jank next to that new engine and those clean parts
Kyle my friend you broke the unwritten lawn worldwide. upon successful first start you are required to do a happy dance. but congrats my friend. congrats.
Looks like the headers fit good..good clearance it seems now that it's in. Looks good..keep on keepin on. I sure hope you had a professional do the HVAC. Man that would suck you dont pull a proper vacuum and destroy that compressor!
For sure! We got it all taken care of! The headers worked out great, at least so far. I would sure hate to do it with everything installed after the fact haha. It's one tight engine bay surprisingly.
I love the way the engine sounds. I wish people would do mods like you have done rather than having an unbearably loud stereo system and squatted trucks.
I like your channel have been watching it for quite a while now yeah got my own channel to but I get it as far as being busy I am thinking of a project possibly a c10
@@saabkyle04 -- You should go review the new S Class Benz at MB of South Charlotte dressed like that!!! Funny because I used to watch your reviews all the time, but never knew you lived in Charlotte. I live off Ardrey Kell.
Small world! Yeah that would be pretty hilarious haha. I hated filming at that dealership, they had too much control over how I filmed at their place. It'd be nice to get a press vehicle and not have to venture back to CLT, too much traffic haha.
I wanna see a classic saabkyle tour of the Jimmy when it's done!
Oh for sure! I can't wait, it'll be so much fun!
So classic that the old original camera comes out....
And there will be no text on the thumbnail and that old car as the icon

I cannot wait to see the Jimmy and the 240sx both finished
Me too man
I haven’t watched his channel in about 2 years, the 240 still isn’t done?
Chris Terzian kyle didnt upload any 240sx video after exhaust installation..guess its still unfinished yet
Your content just keep getting better and better. *Congrats!*

Yesss finally the first start of the new jimmy engine sounds amazing on open headers and wish one day bring the first start on the rb25 240 yeahh :)
Hopefully sooner rather than later! Was hoping to test fire the 240 at the end of this month but I don't think it's going to happen. Just too much going on.
Great job man I have loved this series on the Jimmy, you have been doing a amazing job and it has really motivated me to work on my 88 bronco
Thanks a lot for the support!
Love the videos. I use to have a 1994 GMC Jimmy. Now I have a 1992 GMC Sonoma and love it. Always trying to find things to do to it in my spare time.

Square body love knows no bounds. I love this build!
Looks and sounds great. It's nice to have knowledgeable help.
Video Idea: Do a interior detail on the GMC Jimmy by gutting it like the Nissan 240SX
Very nice, keep it up Kyle! We love you. We support you..We wish you health and wellness
I love this channel the Jimmy is coming along nicely!

Jimmy sounds awesome ! Really came together should be a great truck for years to come
You're really inspiring me to restore an underrated car like the Jimmy myself (or a Jimmy). So many underappreciated cars that never get saved.
Love that digital dash. And that motor, wow nice.
Good to see the Jimmy alive - engine looks fantastic. Can’t wait to see the 200SX
Damn! Some beautiful restoration work and modifying going into that jimmy, what a lucky car.
This Jimmy resto is so satisfying, can't wait to see the final product!
Few playlists have been as satisfying to watch as this one. ....Now, get the extended cab or the crew cab going!
Cheerz from Canada Kyle!
Good to see you make progress. Also, my fav generation of the Jimmy .
Cheerz pal.

I want to see the Jimmy finished because it's so close!
Your videos are cool to watch and take your time on everything
Thanks a lot!
that engine sounds so sick I can't wait for u to put the audio in
LMAO kyle this jimmy is nicer than my brand new car XD

My 240SX is the same way, I had no idea how that worked until Joseph explained it haha.
Looks good Kyle
Love to see the house build
great to see it running again!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Great video Kyle
Dang that sounds sweet!! Can't wait for that 240 start up. I saw a first start up and I couldn't click it fast enough!!
Can’t wait to see it finished!
This guy is much better than the faceless of chrisfix
*What a wonderful project.*
Glad your back man! Now get that 240 running 👍🏽😊
You got it!! XD
Looking awesome man I live it
19:34 pure joy
Talk about a hard cold start; but man does it sound amazing
What do you mean by a hard start? I can't wait to actually get it on the road and hear the exhaust!
Saabkyle04 the battery almost died; and it just took time to diagnose everything; wasn’t trying to sound negative or anything
Oh I know, just didn't know what you meant haha. The battery was weak from sitting so long and the alternator wasn't hooked up so that would explain it haha.

You better be doing a period late 90s stereo setup. The jimmy needs some Alpine amps in the back
Great video keep it up.

Kyle, your beard is nice,
You just remind me of my uncle.
Kyle, you're just the best
The suv sounds nice when it was started
Man you should've had that thing bored out and ported and polished while you were in there! Great work tho 👍🏻
I love the way the engine sounds. I wish people would do mods like you have done rather than having an unbearably loud stereo system and squatted trucks.
Give your Jimmy the same brakes you have on the 240sx
Good work 👍
Kyle, I want more 240SX! :)
I just want it running, be sure to watch the updates at the end of this video! :)
Nice Jimmy
Any content is good content on this channel 👌😎👍

Rookie mistake getting it180 out. The engine looks great.
Hey Kyle did you ever aligned the jimmy
Saabkyle went from country club cut to just country cut....
I find his transformation hilarious, gone polar opposite
Country club cut? I've never been that fancy lol.
Dude, I love it haha. Much happier where I'm at now and it's only going to get better!
