64 is young mate!! Lol. I learned to wing foil at 58 years and we have older people who wing foil too. I now love carving the waves on my foil. Get out there and enjoy it. You won't regret it :)
Phenomenal! Glad you guys showed some of the wipe outs. Too many videos only show perfect rides and etc, thus real world riding can get distorted. Plus really makes you appreciate what these pros can do!!!
Honestly Titouan never took a bad fall ONCE that session. Christian avoided anything bad until that one wave that took his wing, and then he had even better waves after filming stopped! Amazing athletes all-together
Great video, but I haven't seen one yet where they show waterstarts in the lineup. I get it on flat water, but how about off the beach with shore break or near the impact zone.
For this particular spot, it was further away in a safer place with no shore break (However it was very shallow and surge-y) . Very risky to try to paddle out with wing and foil in the impact zone. Even guys this skilled don't really attempt it. In other situations that are potentially risky, I think the trick is to commit and go as fast as possible. I'll keep my eye out if I film a session with a risky entry and upload that here. Thanks for viewing Bill !
Hello! I've been wanting to buy a hydrofoil for a long time, but there are so many of them on the internet! Can you please advise me a board and wing that is big enough to make sharp turns, so it would be easy to surf. I would also like to be able to pick up speed quickly and easily to pump. What board are you using in this video? And which board do you like best? Thanks!
lol there is a massive learning curve. You'll need to learn on a high aspect wing and large board and then slowly move down. You just cant jump in a f1 racecar and start racing on the track. Put in the time and do the work and slowly learn how everybody successful does. Watch wakethief videos to learn easy setups
F-one wings seem to glide so much better than any other wing out there. Ozones and ensis’s seem to be able to get in the air, but once they do they stall out and lose their forward momentum. Duotones seem to be pretty good but f-one strikes are really the only wings ive seen that carry the persons forward momentum like a hang glider would. F-one seems to have done their homework. Which is cool bc the french usually suck at engineering.

And I was the 1OOOth like! 😅I love this.. I'm just not crazy about the foil, I MUUUCH prefer the fin.. need to feel the water on my feet.
