As an owner of a low mileage 2013 dodge Challenger SRT8 392 that's been moded with exhaust, headers, tuning, and suspension. I can honestly tell you the best feeling I had was handing it over to my 19 year old son for his graduation and entering the fire academy as a gift. 👍🏾
I had a ‘13 RT bought it brand new drove it and took care of it. I had it 9 years but I want the bigger engine and a manual trans it hurt me to sell it but I want that 2023 widebody thang. I couldn’t pass the opportunity to spec out the last year of a car and it most likely be 1 of 1. I was definitely happy with what I had but I wanted more from my driving experience that 392 is a monster.
First time viewer i agree with u 100% I recently got a 2015 challenger sxt dark gray silver/chrome rims i do plan on making modifications to it bigger tires size 275. Rear muffler delete chrome quad tips Air intake I would love to have a 2020 challenger scat pack but realistically its out of my budget someday someday definitely a widebody i love the style on them they look so menacing especially color Black
Lots of great points in this video. It's easy to get caught up in the hierarchy for these cars and feel compelled to get the next best thing. And while there's nothing wrong with going for a 2023 before they're gone forever, I can also appreciate the current owners who take pride in the rides they have now. As for future mods, I think a set of katzkin leather seats for the interior would look great on the RT. I was able to do it myself over a weekend and ended up spending around 50% less than what Katskin quotes for a kit and install. You can even get OEM logos if you go to the right place.
@@JRTProductions No problem, been subscribed before I got my 2019 Rt and its been cool seeing someone else build up their RT. The channel "Mopar Life" just did two great videos detailing an intsall for a diy. Although it seems daunting, going slow and starting out with the back seats, passenger, then drivers helped me progress and gain confidence during the job.
I've had 2 chargers and challenger since then lol. My latest I just got a charger daytona. Fully loaded with heated/ventilated memory seats, 20x9 wheels, ect. Love it.
Yeah I dropped the tirestickers also and removed some decals for a cleaner look. I want a Durango tho because it's all wheel drive and they're nice. But who knows I may just keep the Scat especially all the work I did to it. Great video.
I have been a subscriber since you first purchased your challenger and your vidoes have always been informative and straightforward. I enjoyed all the modifications you installed on your challenger and it looks fire. I'm a 08 Dodge RT owner and wanted a change also but my vehicle is just dated. I was 1of 2000 people whom ordered the 2023 Chrysler 300c and can't wait to receive this vehicle. Keep the vidoes coming!! #hemifam
I sold my 14 srt8 manual transmission last September, i had lifters problem piston # 2 lead to replace passenger side set plus oil pump camshaft. Bad work from dealer after I drove it home crash sound happened in crankshaft, because dealer didn’t change the oil and flush the engine. That’s leads to overhaul engine. I heated the car.
Hey what’s up, if you don’t mind asking you questions. Can you tell me the brand you choose for the aftermarket sunroof is it Signature series, Webasto or ASC? Does the aftermarket sunroof comes with warranty? What are the pro’s and con’s from your experience having a aftermarket sunroof? Any problems you have ran into like leaks, rattles, wind noise while is close? Do you have any regrets cutting your Challenger roof and messed up the roof structure and the rigidity and integrity of the car roofs for an aftermarket sunroof? Are you worried about not having a good resale value of your Challenger because it has an aftermarket sunroof vs factory sunroof? I also noticed that you no longer have the headliner dome lights that shine down on the front seats. Did the sunroof tech forgot to put them back on the headliner? I really appreciate you getting back to me I’m debating if I should do this to my Challenger.
I my opinion Dodge is not going to discontinue the Challenger or Charger they are just getting rid of the old Hemi engine platform and moving on to better things like more efficient hybrid V8, V6, 4-cyl and electric but who knows we all should see. But good times are coming for Dodge Mopar or no Car!

Definitely changing it up will make it feel new but simple has always been clean to me
My sentiments exactly! I’m a stick with my 5.7 and mod it up. I’ll be doing a 426 stroker kit and going with the new whipple next year.
You STILL have this car!!? Damn lol props

Very nice! Good look bro. Yeah this one 98% paid off so i'm good. I'll just cop another one if I want a hellcat or a scat
@@JRTProductions Yup that's the move. And you can keep your baby you put so much in to
2016 RT just dropped a fully forged 6.4 in. Procharger and other goodies is definitely in the near future. The sky's the limit.

If I were you I would do a satin black hood wrap and a red brembo swap. Definitely makes an RT stand out
I’ve been wanting to get that front lip but I can’t find any to fit my 16 rt. You have a link?
Liked and subscribed keep up the great work. Kool content
