- Woo after 3 week of working non-stop. I've finally finished this woo!
I'm not really sure how to put the story together. But it think it's kinda self-explanatory. Basically Riko left the government's borderline programs (and just left the government overall) so ye, basically he join the dark side! Wearing his back hoodie and roaming across the land find the answers (and also his sister) xD I think the concept pf light or dark is kind of depend on how you see the story tbh, there's no absolute right or wrong in here 👀 (To me I felt like Riko was just kinda succ for not controlling of his personal problems and turn it to a big deal haha) That's also why I included the part of the lyric said "there's no hero or villain in this place". I also put a few tini details of lore in each scenes so feel free to tell me if you spot out something!
At first I just want to make a really quick and simple project to the contest for fun (hence why it still follow the meme format), but woah, I think I push myself a little off-limits right there. I kinda experimented with this project a bit too much. Like natural movements, advanced lip-sync, dramatic (and really complex) shading, 3d background. Ye it did turn out to be a pain and drained out 90% of my sanity, but the result worth it I guess, I learned a lot during the making of this
Soooo, this is the 2nd time tackle with backgrounds again, and also the first time I try to put a 2D character in it, and also try render it in Eevee instead of Cycles. I'm kind of proud that I did the background from scratch! (except a few props that I used asset) But ye, I'm really proud that my 3d skill getting a little bit better now who knows what I'll make next 👀
Despite having a lot of visual mistake because I didn't really have much time to double check and re-render everything again, overall, I'm still pretty proud with this project and I'm happy to share will all of you too!
The next couple months will be really busy for me. But I'll try to spare sometimes to make a few simple animation meme who knows!

if you made an animated series, id most definitely watch it. the story behind these characters are all so interesting, intriguing and generally well thought out- not to mention your animations are always absolute EYE CANDY.

Wow...just wow. Everytime you upload a video,your content gets better and better. I like how you keep improving and testing to entertain us. Now that's quality over quantity. 3 weeks of work is worth it!
Now, although the plot is in the description,I will still create a theory-I just analysing it and tell you what my innovations that come across my mind. ^ ^ Now onto the idea!
Theory:
At the beginning -0:10, Riko is seen walking to his hometown before setting off. Looking at it with despair and hatred, there is a scene where there are two sides split. The left side shows how Riko found the letter and the reaction of finding the letter of Rita(Platform 9) and the other side highlights of thinking about his past Lyrics-" There's no hero or villian in this place.'
0:25-Lyrics-"There's part of me that I cannot hide." We see flashbacks coming on and Riko is being detained by soldiers. There was a cat who was left laying on a floor-it was either his friend or someone he knows was deceased and standing immobile as they watch Riko yowling in pain and grief as he lost his companion.
0:29 -Lyrics-"I've tried and tired a million times" Flashback again from Epoch as the military saw the meteor heading at the west(to Riko's hometown).
0:30-Platform 9 Flashback- He ran away all away to his hometown and ended up seeing his sister's letter on the floor.
0:33-0:39- Lyrics-"Cross my heart and hope to die. Welcome to my darkside." As he flashed back to reality, he decided to join the darkside and to leave the government to only thing that is determined to find and sacrificing his life on- his sister.
0:41-0:57: We see an epic scene of how Riko becoming more antisocial and recluse toward strangers, walking alone like a lone wolf to accomplish his task. Under his eyes, joining the government has been the worst decision in his life.
There's an emblem that represents something. It might be the resemblance of the government or Riko is trying to do some rebellion by getting revenge and creating a team(not yet)?
That's it.
REMEMBER-This is a speculative theory based on my observation!
