Hey, if you could reply, I'd greatly appreciate it. I see you upgraded the trolling motor on the bow. I just ordered the mount you installed and was wondering if you upgraded to upgrade, or was there a problem with the original setup? Do you have a video on installing your new motor? I plan on using your original setup for a while but your new motor looks like you didn't need to mod too much. I think I will need to buy a 36 in. shaft.
Yes I upgraded to upgrade. Nothing was wrong with the first set up. I just really wanted spot lock and ipilot to go hands-free. Especially for the money I still stand by my original set up. I recommend either one depending on your budget. Yes I had a 55lb Traxxis with 36inch shaft on an EZ mount.
There is also a video on my channel where I upgrade the new motor. Now I have a Minn Kota Terrova 55lb 54" with ipilot
You did a great job. I have a 14-foot and was wondering if a 36-inch shaft is going to be too short. How did the 36-inch shaft work? And thanks for your feedback and quick response.

Great build.... I am about to rebuild my second boat this winter, last one was 25 years ago.... Now I bought a property with a old 1970's Sears V-haul abandoned on it. Pulling it into the barn for a rebuild this winter. Inspired by your build....
Grab yourself a Flemlee Frog for those lakes.... I once won with a tournament of max 5 fish weight, I hauled in 23.3 pounds to win the first place of 200$ on one lure, this frog.
