The Python is KING of the mission boards! Anything, anywhere, at anytime! The Phantom is useful in places needing a fast and manoeuvrable machine, the Asp X too, has good explorer credentials, the Type 9 has bulk carrying ability. But if you want to maximise the rep (AND profit!) among the largest number of systems, and system factions, you need to use ONE MACHINE to cover the MOST MISSIONS! No ship does THAT better than the Python! Only the Saud Kruger products do a better job of carrying AND pampering passengers better, but don't expect to go far, fast! No machine has revolutionised the life of the small business owner, more, since the Ford Transit of the mid twentieth century, on Earth!

Original write-ups for the Python said it was to include a SLF. They deemed it too powerful with a fighter and nerfed it when SLF came out. Now they have the Krait. I feel cheated... LOL. Would love a Python MKII (Or WHATEVER NUMBER)
my python bought me my krait and krait phantom and the big 3 so its very close to my heart, however as i am writing this i am material gathering in my krait lol
1 Krait MK2 for combat (and personally I like it for most missions EXCEPT: ) 2 Pythons, 1 for trade and sourcing/delivery missions (if my Krait does not have room) the other is for mining 1 Anaconda for CZs, HAZ REZ, grinding combat basically 1 Krait Phantom for exploration Krait MK2 is my favorite ship (I consider the MK2 and Phantom to be my main ships), Python is a close 3rd. Anaconda is just stupid useful for stuff too though so need one of those.

For combat and piracy I would take the krait every time but as a trader or smuggler I prefer the python
