So Fish reveal works great on Down Scan, But it would be great if it worked also on Side Scan! You have to hunt for an object on side scan because its the same color as everything. Fish reveal would be awesome! Unless it's already available and I can"t find it.
There is an Elite Ti2 bundle that comes with an Active Imaging sonar which enables both downscan and sidescan. The unit as it is can display both sidescan and downscan but you need a sonar with both capabilities as well to complete the equation

ActiveTarget will not work with the Elite ti2. Also you will not be able to share sonar returns between the Carbon and the ti2. You will need a ethernet connection to do so.
Trying to find info for hooking NMEA net work to Elite TI2 to Ghost TM . Does Compass Puck hook to NMEA or direct to Ghost. Could you do a simple drawing showing which wires go where?
Is there any video information for connection with the nmea cable, especially how to set up for fuel usage, fuel used, ect.. I cannot find anything about setup about this. I have the Elite TI2 9.

Dear Metthew! I would like to request information about ELITE 12 Ti2 and HDS 12 Live. The brochure shows that the display resolution is 1280x800 for both devices, but the Elit has TFT while the HDS has an IPS panel. Is the image of the two devices the same with an active imaging transmitter? In addition to the benefits of the IPS panel, is the displayed image different for the Elite 12 Ti2? For me, only the displayed image is important and in this respect I want to choose between the two devices. Thanks to András from Hungary (Europe)
Hi, have a question I do not seem to be able to get an answer to anywhere. Noticed that I get 2 different depths when I run 83khz and 200khz and also medium chirp and high chirp! I see, for example, that the bottom is 5 m, but on the plotter it shows about 6 m? If I change from 83 to 200 khz, the plotter can also show 5m. So if I look at 2d and see that the bottom is eg 5 m but on the actual data layer on the display it shows eg 6.5 m? Seems like it shows type 2a reading as when it is hard bottom, and reads it instead. And then it will be completely wrong when you map up maps. Do you have any idea why this is so. Have talked to some friends who also have Lowrance because I thought there was something wrong with my sensor (Ai 3-1) But they had the same problem. Seems like it shows the right depth on data storage as long as you use 200 khz, Regards // Mattias What I mean is: the bottom is where it shold be and the sidebar shows the right depth,but the overlay depth shows wrong.

Yes you can network the two units but only via NMEA2000, and they'll be able to share the Ghost trolling motor via N2K. But if you want to share sonar and charts, then you will need another HDS or a new Elite FS unit.

Can I install the transducer to my MinnKota Terrova trolling motor? I am getting mixed messages about adding it to my trolling motor from your tech support folks. I really want to be able to use it when moving but I can use my helm unit/transducer for that. I’d love to use the bow mounted ti2 while moving but if my only option is to mount it to my trolling motor I guess I will have to live with it. Thanks
You could install the transducer on your trolling motor, although you should check what adapter you need to mount the transducer you have in mind. As per controlling the Minn Kota from the Elite Ti2 is a no go.

You will not be able to wirelessly connect more than two Elite ti2 units. NMEA2000 will transfer newly created waypoints on the go, you will not be able to share saved waypoints. You would need an Ethernet connection between units to achieve that, and the Elite ti2 series does not have that feature. You can indeed use the trolling motor from every units on the boat via N2K, but you will not be able to share sonar with all 3 units.

Hello, I just got the Lowrance elite Ti2. my question is. How do I get the sound for the fish when it comes under my sono my last lowrance hook seven I was able to have the sound whenever I fish came under the radar.
You can network them via NMEA2000 but that will not give you the chance to share sonar nor maps between the two units. You will need an ethernet connection for that, and the Elite Ti2 does not have any ethernet port.
The place it is installed in makes a difference but you should still be able to operate it without getting burnt. Please contact us via FB if you think it's an issue.
How do you make your own mapping chart, WITHOUT having to upload it on internet? WHITOUT using Genesis Live that never stop mapping and move the contourlines around the boat.
My unit doesn’t recognize my transducer, how do I fix that.... my charts and down scan work, however my side scan only shows the line in the middle where the boat is.... I’m losing my mind!

I think if you communicate two Elite Ti2s. You have to chose which is the active, and which is the slave. This is from what I read, because I can't afford two Ti2's at this time.

@@erniesanders3724 Over my head, brother, I think they work off their own WIFI. I might buy an extra Elite Ti2 in the near future to mount up front since I do a lot of trolling motor work up front. That way I can use the WIFI from the rear mounted Ti2 to connect with the front Ti2 so I can view what is under the rear mounted 3-in-1 transducer. I've just seen this scenario mentioned in a couple of Lowrance videos, and have successfully hooked up a Kindle with my current Ti2 in my garage. However, I don't think the two Ti2s could be primary at the same time. But honestly, I am pretty new to many of the features of the Ti2. I will probably buy a transducer to attach to my "up front" trolling motor, but use both with one being the primary and the other the slave, as I mentioned before. I believe they share waypoints and trails. Hopefully, someone will read this and correct me if I am wrong.

If my transducer is hooked to elite unit at console and I have xi5 at the bow with nmea hooked to the front elite monitor hooked up wirelessly to unit at console can I control the xi5 from both units
The Elite ti2 can only be connected wirelessly with another Elite ti2 and they can only share sonar, charts and waypoints. If they are all hooked onto the same N2K then yes, you'll be able to control it.
The quick release system sucks big balls mine falls down when running on smooth or choppy water the graph pivots down it want tighten no more to keep the screen up facing me but I have found a flush mount bracket not sold by lowrance that will mount to my dash an mount the unit at a angle an stationary no dam falling down an moving an bouncing around when running
You don't need a bracket, just remove the caps on the 4 corners and you'll see a small hole in each one. Using the template that came with the unit or do your own, make your cut, run some bolts through the holes and whaallaa.
Whoa! Just went to Amazon and the reviews of this model are terrible. The fact that you can create charts is fine but you apparently cannot upload charts created by other users in the Lowrance Community. Every single review on the first page were negative saying (Do Not Purchase) etc. This sux because I was just about to click Buy Now but I decided to look around some more. I’ve been off the water for the past 10+ years and fishfinders are almost alien to me now as they have changed so much. The thing that drew me to Lowrance was thst I was trying to find a Fishfinder that can BT connect with my new Mercury Vessel View so I don’t have to use my iPhone or iPad and Lowrance popped up but looks like it may take some kind of extra module or something. I’m so comfy? Lol 😂
You will need to create an account with C-Map genesis in order to download other's sonar logs. The Elite ti2 series is out of production now, but it is still one of the most used units and, despite the reviews, is one of the most popular and loved ones.
The will have some communication if you connect them via NMEA2000. Bear in mind you will not be able to share sonar nor chart, as you would need ethernet for this to work.
After two years using my Lowrance, I can say " I don't recommend this brand". 1. Worst customer service, they receive calls only from 9am to 4pm EST. 2. It works properly one of every 10 times. 3. Cursor acts like crazy and show you destinations with out avoiding obstacles going to one point to another (never navigate with this unit at night, you will end in the beach or over a sand bar or over rocks).

I use a 20ah/12V battery for mine in a portable ammo box. Lasts two full days before I need to charge. Goodluck

The warranty period will start with original purchase. It is probably outside of warranty period.

Yes, the AI 3in1 is compatible with the Elite ti2. The tripleshot transducer is the totalscan version for our Hook2/Hook Reavel series.
Any plans to have the Ti2 control the outboard hydraulic pack?
There will be no more updates for the Elite ti2 series.

the TM compass goes attached to the pedal.

You can look into ref. 000-11517-001 and ref. 000-11522-001 We would also need to know what motor you're using as you will need a NMEA2000 interface.

If you do not see it there, then your motor does not give you Engine Hours.

I just pick up a 9” Ti2 from Bass pro on sale for $599 and it has the transducer for side scan.
There are bundles with 3 in 1 active imaging transducer which enable downscan, sidescan and CHIRP modes

Yes, you can run the unit of water to do the updates. No transducers should be connected, unless you use the Stop Sonar feature.
My unit doesn’t recognize my transducer, how do I fix that.... my charts and down scan work, however my side scan only shows the line in the middle where the boat is.... I’m losing my mind!

Can you run 2 units off of one transducer for sidescan?
I think if you communicate two Elite Ti2s. You have to chose which is the active, and which is the slave. This is from what I read, because I can't afford two Ti2's at this time.

@@erniesanders3724 Over my head, brother, I think they work off their own WIFI. I might buy an extra Elite Ti2 in the near future to mount up front since I do a lot of trolling motor work up front. That way I can use the WIFI from the rear mounted Ti2 to connect with the front Ti2 so I can view what is under the rear mounted 3-in-1 transducer. I've just seen this scenario mentioned in a couple of Lowrance videos, and have successfully hooked up a Kindle with my current Ti2 in my garage. However, I don't think the two Ti2s could be primary at the same time. But honestly, I am pretty new to many of the features of the Ti2. I will probably buy a transducer to attach to my "up front" trolling motor, but use both with one being the primary and the other the slave, as I mentioned before. I believe they share waypoints and trails. Hopefully, someone will read this and correct me if I am wrong.

Thank you Good video I was looking at getting to of them the 9 ti2 I was wondering when u set the home unit on dash and the other on bow well the home picks up the trans from the back of boat and the front is set for trolling motor I don't understand that or does both read from back or how do u set the front to read from trolling motors trans ? trolling mtr ducer is connected direct to bow ti2, if you want to to 'see' 2d sonar from helm ti2 you have to go into settings>data sources> sonar

The Elite ti2 can only be connected wirelessly with another Elite ti2 and they can only share sonar, charts and waypoints.
If they are all hooked onto the same N2K then yes, you'll be able to control it.

The quick release system sucks big balls mine falls down when running on smooth or choppy water the graph pivots down it want tighten no more to keep the screen up facing me but I have found a flush mount bracket not sold by lowrance that will mount to my dash an mount the unit at a angle an stationary no dam falling down an moving an bouncing around when running
What bracket you buy?
You don't need a bracket, just remove the caps on the 4 corners and you'll see a small hole in each one. Using the template that came with the unit or do your own, make your cut, run some bolts through the holes and whaallaa.

Whoa! Just went to Amazon and the reviews of this model are terrible. The fact that you can create charts is fine but you apparently cannot upload charts created by other users in the Lowrance Community. Every single review on the first page were negative saying (Do Not Purchase) etc.
This sux because I was just about to click Buy Now but I decided to look around some more. I’ve been off the water for the past 10+ years and fishfinders are almost alien to me now as they have changed so much. The thing that drew me to Lowrance was thst I was trying to find a Fishfinder that can BT connect with my new Mercury Vessel View so I don’t have to use my iPhone or iPad and Lowrance popped up but looks like it may take some kind of extra module or something. I’m so comfy? Lol 😂
You will need to create an account with C-Map genesis in order to download other's sonar logs. The Elite ti2 series is out of production now, but it is still one of the most used units and, despite the reviews, is one of the most popular and loved ones.

The will have some communication if you connect them via NMEA2000. Bear in mind you will not be able to share sonar nor chart, as you would need ethernet for this to work.
After two years using my Lowrance, I can say " I don't recommend this brand".
1. Worst customer service, they receive calls only from 9am to 4pm EST.
2. It works properly one of every 10 times.
3. Cursor acts like crazy and show you destinations with out avoiding obstacles going to one point to another (never navigate with this unit at night, you will end in the beach or over a sand bar or over rocks).

You cannot connect a radar on the Elite ti2 but you can now on the new Elite FS via Ethernet.
