Thoothukudi macroons are introduced back in the day by Portuguese and is made up of egg whites,sugar and cashews.. crunchy on the outside and airy on the inside🤤🤤🤤🤤just melts in your mouth when you bite it. Tastes best when stored in an air tight container...

Most of the north Indian sweets will have white sugar whereas most of the tamilnadu sweets will have palm sugar or country sugar.traditional tamilnadu sweets were made with health conscious not merely for the taste

Am from South India. My mother is from tamilnadu and my father is from kerala. I love all the sweets shown in the video . Whenever I go to tamilnadu my uncle would bye all these especially the macaroni,atirasam and halwa. Cause these are favourite.
Those thaen mittais are actually used to be made with honey rather than sugar in olden days so that's why it got its name as then mithai I had one made with honey but those are very rare
Eventhough u eat them like every time, u see the sweets from a new light when someone is trying it for the first time. So yeah I'm really craving these now 😭😭
