Just getting the large deposits off to get a better look. This person has a severe case of gum disease, and will likely lose some, or all of their teeth.
These poor people are often ashamed, and avoid seeing a Dentist. They have many reasons for not seeking help, sometimes they suffer from mental health issues........they need us NEVER to judge them. God bless this person for the courage it took to get some treatment.💜

Their gums are receding away from the teeth as a result which means for most of this persons life the part of the teeth you see here were covered by their gums. Living in a glass house, I do my best to never pick up a stone - no judgment here, I have my own demons and issues. I have watched several of these and have not seen any information in the comments regarding the backstory. I know countless people fear going to the dentist and therefore do not. However, the majority still practice daily oral hygiene. Like hoarding, I am wondering if there is a unique underlying mental health disorder and this just happens to be the result. I'd read and heard that inflammation in the body, too, may put one at risk of developing cancer, such as gastritis, for instance, which is supposed to be the inflammation of the lining of the stomach. Unfortunately, over time, chronic gastritis may reportedly change the cell structure to instead look more like intestinal (the intestines) cells (than stomach cells), which may apparently, in some, increase the chance of cancer. May your Dear Friend R.I.P. and her situation possibly help others to take care of their dental health, and thus, as well as overall health, as much as possible.
