Miracle voice Mártha Eggerth has! I have seen this movie many times. Finaly, I bought a DVD and CDs of her. Not many people around the world but Many in Japan love this Diva Mártha Eggerth through over than a hundred years.

When I first saw this film on television while living in Munich I fell madly in love with Marta Eggerth...... and after meeting her some years later I adored her. A beautiful voice, a beautiful woman and human being. Prost Marta.

He not only tells the story of Franz Schubert with fine pacing, terrific performances, good photography, and an enchanting score, but he delivers a feel for the mystery of a Schubert even his best friends could never get truly close to. All music lovers should savour the rare moments captured in this forgotten gem.
Nunca había oído esta canción eterna al amor cantada con tanto sentimiento y ternura, con una voz de técnica perfecta; la voz sobre el aire. Hoy la sopranos gritan, chillan en cuanto a la técnica y ya nacen sin sentimiento.
