I wanted to mention a Byredo formula dupe I own: the KVD eyeshadows in their first 2 palettes as rebranded brand are basically identical to the last 2 Byredo large palettes. You'll see it in one look and touch how the textures are the same but you also find a few colour dupes. Performance is the same. Both are produced in Italy. KVD palettes came out several years earlier though and are quite a bit more affordable for the same quality. The Byredo were limited and I think you can still get the KVD for a pretty good price. So anyone that missed the Byredo should give the KVD a try
The LE skin tint looks interesting. Thank you for showing the product both wet and dry, often that makes a huge difference. I'm also thankful for your large swatches and descriptions of the lip pencils. The formula sounds good but the shades are not for me. I was planning on buying ON and 1C, for $56 plus taxes, but now I see I would've been disappointed. The search for truly skin-neutral, neutral-to-cool, lip shades and lip contouring shades continues.
Of course I am tempted to buy the skin tint, but I know that I prefer more coverage from a foundation - AT LEAST medium. I rarely walk out of the house with a product like this. I’d rather do totally no makeup for a no makeup day. Yesterday, I wore the one product like this (not in formula, but in coverage) I actually like for very light coverage - the Covergirl Ageless Skin Perfecter. . . And I wouldn’t wear it to work. Of the pencils, I like 2C on you a lot! I may try that one. I like the ON too. But you are right they do run warm. I would like to try the mascara, but I prefer a tubing mascara, so I’ll probably pass on this too.

I also got it in T1 (Im shade 1 in her foundation) and its unbelievable -- definitely the best skin tint/natural skin perfector Ive ever tried. Ive always been searching for light medium coverage that looks like skin, not foundation on skin, and this is it. It even builds if you have any areas you really want to cover. Im also absolutely blown away by her pencils, which I didnt expect to care about, but have turned out to be a game changer in terms of creating a natural nude everyday lip. I also have neutral cool very fair skin but my lips are very cool and finding a nude natural looking lip colour has proved almost impossible -- everything pale or even medium leans peach, yellow or orange on me. But, for all I have to agree with you that the 3 Cool LE pencils look warm leaning and I guess Id hoped for some purple in there, for some reason, on my very cool lips their tones do work beautifully. They can all sculpt and even overdraw and shadow my lips and end up looking totally natural; somehow the apparently warmish tones blend into my own cool lip colour and create fuller natural looking lips that look like my lips but better, not ... lips with obvious liner drawn on. Dabbing lipstick or gloss on top of that looks sensational too. Its a weird alchemy of tones and I cant figure it out. Im plotting to buy backups asap because I'll be using these every single day I put on makeup( and Im not keen on the long wait for LE products to come back in stock once they sell out)! C3 is quite berryish and it works beautifully with darker shades of lipstick or gloss, but C1 (sometimes with a bit of shading with C2 and my own lip colour of course) is probably my favorite because it pulls off the incredible trick of creating a sculpted, cool, nude pink lip. It also seems to almost neutralize warmer shades on top, like say Kitten Mischief from LEs Lucent range. It’s always been too peach to work for me but with these pencils it cools right down. It’s extraordinary the way these pencils work so well (for me) because as you pointed out, the shades seem to lean warm.
I have the same issues finding a cool natural lip liner and have been hesitant to purchase the new LE liners since they look a bit warm. Good to know they’re cooler in practice.
Tbh I'm done trying Lisa Eldridge products. After the latest fail on me, the foundation I decided not to look further into the brand but still enjoyed watching.
Lisa is one of the few cosmetic companies that is completely self funded with no outside investors or a big parent company like Puig, L’Oréal or Lauder. She also makes no money out of her RUclips content. All her advertising revenue goes to charity. For that reason I continue to support her even if there are products that I like less. Her skin tint is one of her best releases to date.
Totally agree with you regarding the LE pencils, too warm, the LYS blushes are beautiful and I wonder if they will work on the lips. $100 for lipstick is a no from me. Thank you for all you do here , I appreciate you. ❤
I was excited to order her Skin Tint especially since it was fragrance free but then I discovered there’s Salicylic Acid in the ingredients..😢 Salicylic Acid wrecks havoc on my eczema prone skin.. I think it could’ve been my perfect skin tint if it wasn’t for the salicylic acid..
I think LEs description of cool or warm apply to the complexion of the person rather than the shade explicitly. 1C looks like your MLBB! The Chanel quad eye look is so good on you.
Hi Lexi, glad you liked the skin tint better than her foundation! I got the tint in T8 and really like it. I wore it under her foundation and they went well together though I did powder on top of my t-zone. I got the new lip pencil in W2 and really love this formula, it stayed on really well until I removed it myself hours later. Great products! Oh I also did half of each side of the face of LE skin tint & Chanel water fresh tint to compare and they both looked the same - just a texture difference when applying.
Really enjoyed this and the selection of products. I was able to swatch the LE products and came out with T1 in the tint and 2c and 2W in the lipliners. I also picked up another mascara as it works so well on my short lashes. Would love a brown shade in the mascara as well.

Hey Lexi!! I was waiting for your Lisa Eldridge review before I form an opinion. I feel that is worth more the money for someone to invest on a good coverage foundation with a nice fine formula. Personally if I want a very light coverage , skin like version foundation for my makeup; I mix a bit of my Chantecaille Sheer glow rose face tint with 1 drop of my westman atelier skin drops and a bit colour correction from YSL. That concoction makes a very similar look to what Lisa’s Eldridge face tint gives. I will definitely attempt to get a sample to try and see it on my self but I do not feel that I am convinced to introduce it as a product to my daily routine. Thank you 🙏 sooo much for your hard work and all your amazing reviews!!! Are SO helpful to me at list 🫶🏻🙏🤩🌟👏🫶🏻
I agree that mixing a moisturizer or similar product with something more full coverage will give you more options and is a better financial decision but if you want something very easy, already mixed and ready to go, this is a great option. I'm glad the mixture is working for you. I think I will have to try that out!
Lexi I bought one of the new slick shine lipstick from E Lauder. and it is really nice. It wears well and it is a good formula. The lipstick is in a beautiful gold skinny case. Thanks for reviewing EL.
Such an interesting array in this video! I’m surprised that I’m most interested in the Lys blushes. The tones are really lovely. I like my MUFE pencils for my lips - they last forever and the cool shades are actually cool! Thanks for the comprehensive reviews!

Hi Lexi love Lisa’s concept. I love makeup no makeup look, so definitely getting the tint. Lip pencils I think I will get 1c, cause it looks kind of more neutral, for my pigmented permanent makeup lips I think and wow mascara looks amazing , need that too😂 lipsticks I would prefer Cle de peau .Blushes not sure if I need. ON looks kinda like Iconic nude… did those set down at all I’ve never seen a lip liner u could blot on like a lipstick … thanks girl I haven’t seen these liners yet!
I love LE tint. I have two shades T4 and T8. Both are very good! The bottle look small but it’s 30ml! It’s more as Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation wich is very similar.
Thanks for the great review Lexi. To me the cool lip pencil shades are as intended since these particular pencils are supposed to enhance skin tone...cool while still natural, but for whatever reason your swatches look warmer and darker on my desktop and iPad screens than my 0N and 1C irl. Might just be my screens. With my rosacea I am a bit leery of the salicylic acid in the skin tint. I'm going to try a sample first and will probably only use it occasionally for that reason. My skin tends to get red with any chemical exfoliants. Very happy there is no alcohol or fragrance though!
I would say they are pretty close in my personal rankings but since there is no brown option which is my favorite in the Sisley, it has not topped it. Formula wise, the Sisley adds a bit more volume than the Lisa Eldridge. I think if there were a brown in the LE mascara, I would love them both pretty equally but the cost difference would give the edge to LE.
Such a helpful review! The Skin Tint looks so beautiful & the mascara is quite impressive, I don't usually wear mascara anymore but this one looks very natural and pretty, but like you, I would love, and perhaps prefer, a brown one. The liners also look pretty, but I agree the cool ones don't look that cool, 1C reminds me of Pillow Talk which on me looks a bit peachy. I was wondering if you have tried the Manasi7 pencils, I've been dying to get the Yokan shade because that one really looks like it's definitely more of a mauve pink shade. Thank you for sharing!
Lexi, I received the LE Skin tint & lip pencil today so it was great to watch your video on the same day. I think I may have bought too light of shade T9 so hard when buying online. And I bought W1 lip pencil and funny thing it seems cool on me why the cool pencils look warm on you. Maybe I should have went for the cool pencils 😆. Not sure what I think of the products since today is first day and might not be the right shade. I think the mascara looks great on you gives you long lashes and I love your eye look!! I bought this skin tint and I like it with reservations…namely the absolute BS nonsense that is “2 drop”. No one is going to use two drops, more like 4 or 5 and at that rate, this product will be gone in a month. I don’t want to buy foundation products monthly especially at this price. That said, it does feel good, but I’m also not entirely in love with my shade, T6, seems too light though it does have a nice, non greasy finish. Why not just use the foundation sheered out with a drop of oil, like Lisa does in one of her tutorials? It gives much the same effect and is so much more cost effective. I’d love to see you in the next shade darker as well, or one of the olive undertones to see if it does tone the redness like LE claims it will.
I received some free Goop lip products and they’re fine, especially for free, but they are gritty. I don’t know what causes that - you’d think they were expired but they’re brand new. Thanks Lexi! I’m looking forward to trying Lisa Eldridge!
I love many products from Lisa Eldrige's line, including the Velvet and Lucent lipsticks, glosses, eyeshadow palettes (Vega & Myth), original lip pencils and most recently the mascara so the skin tint was going to be my next purchase but I'll prob pass now. The coverage is too sheer to cover redness and even out my skintone and although minor, the packaging annoys me because, like the foundation (which is just ok), it doesn't stand up on its own. I rarely save outer packaging but if I didn't save the foundation's, it would roll off my table and shatter on my wood floor. For the amt of thought Lisa puts into the formulas, the packaging, especially at this price point should be functional - I'd rather my base product stand securely on my table than fit snugly in my purse. Ok, rant over! As always, your reviews are the best!!

I have several reviews on Burberry including their latest releases. If you go to my homepage (click on my picture), you can put burberry in the search box and there are a lot of videos to choose from.
I think the new pencils from LE are intended for people who need to draw-sculpt outside the lip-line. Like if you have very thin lips or uneven shape you want to change. To apply it first to get the shape you want, and then follow up with a liner that matches the lipstick.
The emerald lipstick looks beautiful. Wonder why one is gritty.. The pink looks shinier than the peach 🤔that's disappointing. The "cool" LE lip liners both have some orange/red in them and no purple. I guess you could call them neutral warm leaning? 1C is actually a good nude for me because my lips have a peachy tone mixed in w cool pink and are neither cool nor warm.
Love your reviews! I’m really excited to try the LE skin tint. The older I get the less I like foundation. My only gripe with the LE skin tint, is the color. The only cool toned is #1. It looks fantastic on you and is my perfect undertone but I’m slightly darker than you. In Chanel, I’m a BR22. I can use neutral if they are a balanced neutral and not warm leaning. I really don’t like buying two products to achieve a perfect match. Agree on the lipliners. They are warm and need a cooler version. Lipliners for me are just difficult to begin with. I don’t really care for the darker outlined look. So I stick to a clear liner for the most part. Someday I hope to find the perfect liner and want to try the Makeup by Mario ones that you suggested in one of your other videos.

It’s really a sheer tint. It’s pretty. So many I have heard said it’s fussy on application. If you have any pores or bumps. I don’t see that ! Did I see the right price on ESTEE LAUDER. $88 and or $100. For ONE ? for the lip ? Wow they have really added to the Lux. I didn’t know it was so high. Interesting. THE EYE LINER ON YOU LOOKS SO PRETTY. The LE. I ALSO WANT TO SEE A MAUVE
Lexi, what eyeshadow are you wearing here? Is it the Suqqu blue spring quad? (Looks beautiful). I agree that the LE mascara is fantastic. I don’t use mascara on a regular basis because I’m super picky, dislike the artificial clumpy effect and potential for smudging, and my lashes are quite sensitive to more aggressive removal. This one ticks all of the boxes for me!
What didn’t you like about the LE original,foundation? I’ve been trying the foundation samples for a while now, and it seems I’m not so keen on the formula, maybe, either - it seems to catch on dry skin but be “oily” too - I can’t describe why, which is why I’m asking 😊 - I did get the tint, so I hope I like it and it’s encouraging that you do too
That is the exact issue I have with the foundation and it is hard to verbalize the issue!! Sometimes it will look nice but often, the texture just seems off and patchy. I also had a hard time with a color match but I believe she has since expanded the range and I haven't tried her newer shades.
I disposed of my LS lipsticks and gloss. Colors are beautiful but of all high-end lipsticks I owned, nothing stuck to my teeth like her formula. Ever. I truly love Cinnabar, but never on my teeth.

I could never get it to look great on me. It was very finicky and I found that it just didn't hold up well over the day. Color matching was also very challenging. The skin tint though has been really nice! I have heard of a some people requesting samples successfully from customer service so perhaps they would send you some samples to try.
@@LexiJong the foundation always looked so dry on me, even when I added oil into it or put oil on my face before. Do you think the tint would be more suited to dryness/dehydration?
I think the tint is probably best for when your skin is in good shape so if you add a moisturizer prior to the tint, it will probably work out better than the foundation but I'm not sure how forgiving it will be.

What is Lauder doing with a $100 lipstick? They have zero prestige as a brand. In fact, you may remember I broke my lifetime No Buy from Lauder for their Lunar New Year compacts, when I bought the Year of the Rabbit. So I was excited to get Year of the Dragon. They shipped that compact in an old box to me and it was clearly a return. That quickly turned into another return, from me. And they lost me as a collector. My bunny compact is fine, but I'm done with Estee Lauder. Add to that the fact that they ruin every brand they buy, and I'm really done. Cle de Peau has good reason to charge more for their makeup. They're worth it. So no comparison. But enough of my rant. I Love, love, Love what you've done with that Rivage eye palette. If I had seen anyone demo it like that I would have bought it. Just beautiful on you! Also love C2 in Lisa's pencils on you, and her skin tint. You look lovely in this. But I agree, she over hyped these lip pencils. Thanks for the video and Happy Monday!💚
That is so disappointing! EL really seems like they need to review their brand identity and focus on basics again. I really like the new lipsticks they launched last year but I feel like the line as a whole seems like it isn't cohesive anymore.

Where's the Blush to coordinate with these color stories you've built? Where's a new kind of highlighter, or better yet a blushlighter? The last thing I want or need is another cleanser. Now she's hyping these lip liners as something they're not. Also, she completely missed the move toward shiny lip colors with her liquid lipstick launch. Her Lucents are shiny but sheers that have zero staying power. I don't know. Maybe Lancome is taking up a lot of her time. But she needs to commit to her own line, and I haven't seen that since her eye palette launch. Which I loved BTW. Another rant. But it's something that's been bugging me.

Lisa tint is nice but nothing special. Plus I absolutely HATE her packaging. Like her other foundation, it won't stand up,and doesn't fit in cabinets or drawers. Igh.

I was waiting for your Lisa Eldridge review before I form an opinion. I feel that is worth more the money for someone to invest on a good coverage foundation with a nice fine formula. Personally if I want a very light coverage , skin like version foundation for my makeup; I mix a bit of my Chantecaille Sheer glow rose face tint with 1 drop of my westman atelier skin drops and a bit colour correction from
YSL. That concoction makes a very similar look to what Lisa’s Eldridge face tint gives. I will definitely attempt to get a sample to try and see it on my self but I do not feel that I am convinced to introduce it as a product to my daily routine. I agree that mixing a moisturizer or similar product with something more full coverage will give you more options and is a better financial decision but if you want something very easy, already mixed and ready to go, this is a great option. I'm glad the mixture is working for you. I think I will have to try that out!

Lexi I bought one of the new slick shine lipstick from E Lauder. and it is really nice. It wears well and it is a good formula. The lipstick is in a beautiful gold skinny case. Thanks for reviewing EL.

Hi ! I will ask for a brown version of the mascara too 😉 If you have some Charlotte Tilbury lipliners I would be curious to see how they compare because 0N looks very similar to iconic nude, and 1C to pillow talk and you do comparison swatches the best 🙂

Hi Lexi love Lisa’s concept. I love makeup no makeup look, so definitely getting the tint. Lip pencils I think I will get 1c, cause it looks kind of more neutral, for my pigmented permanent makeup lips I think and wow mascara looks amazing , need that too😂 lipsticks I would prefer Cle de peau .Blushes not sure if I need. I love LE tint. I have two shades T4 and T8. Both are very good! The bottle look small but it’s 30ml! It’s more as Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation wich is very similar.

Thanks for the great review Lexi. To me the cool lip pencil shades are as intended since these particular pencils are supposed to enhance skin tone...cool while still natural, but for whatever reason your swatches look warmer and darker on my desktop and iPad screens than my 0N and 1C irl. Might just be my screens. With my rosacea I am a bit leery of the salicylic acid in the skin tint. I'm going to try a sample first and will probably only use it occasionally for that reason. My skin tends to get red with any chemical exfoliants. Very happy there is no alcohol or fragrance though!

I would say they are pretty close in my personal rankings but since there is no brown option which is my favorite in the Sisley, it has not topped it. Formula wise, the Sisley adds a bit more volume than the Lisa Eldridge. I think if there were a brown in the LE mascara, I would love them both pretty equally but the cost difference would give the edge to LE.
Such a helpful review! The Skin Tint looks so beautiful & the mascara is quite impressive, I don't usually wear mascara anymore but this one looks very natural and pretty, but like you, I would love, and perhaps prefer, a brown one. The liners also look pretty, but I agree the cool ones don't look that cool, 1C reminds me of Pillow Talk which on me looks a bit peachy. I was wondering if you have tried the Manasi7 pencils, I've been dying to get the Yokan shade because that one really looks like it's definitely more of a mauve pink shade. Thank you for sharing!

Lexi, I received the LE Skin tint & lip pencil today so it was great to watch your video on the same day. I think I may have bought too light of shade T9 so hard when buying online. And I bought W1 lip pencil and funny thing it seems cool on me why the cool pencils look warm on you. Maybe I should have went for the cool pencils 😆. Not sure what I think of the products since today is first day and might not be the right shade. I think the mascara looks great on you gives you long lashes and I love your eye look!! I bought this skin tint and I like it with reservations…namely the absolute BS nonsense that is “2 drop”. No one is going to use two drops, more like 4 or 5 and at that rate, this product will be gone in a month. I don’t want to buy foundation products monthly especially at this price. That said, it does feel good, but I’m also not entirely in love with my shade, T6, seems too light though it does have a nice, non greasy finish. Why not just use the foundation sheered out with a drop of oil, like Lisa does in one of her tutorials? It gives much the same effect and is so much more cost effective. I’d love to see you in the next shade darker as well, or one of the olive undertones to see if it does tone the redness like LE claims it will.
I'm considering trying another shade. I wish it was easier to get the perfect shade online or she had samples available.
I received some free Goop lip products and they’re fine, especially for free, but they are gritty. I don’t know what causes that - you’d think they were expired but they’re brand new. Thanks Lexi! I’m looking forward to trying Lisa Eldridge!

I love many products from Lisa Eldrige's line, including the Velvet and Lucent lipsticks, glosses, eyeshadow palettes (Vega & Myth), original lip pencils and most recently the mascara so the skin tint was going to be my next purchase but I'll prob pass now. The coverage is too sheer to cover redness and even out my skintone and although minor, the packaging annoys me because, like the foundation (which is just ok), it doesn't stand up on its own. I rarely save outer packaging but if I didn't save the foundation's, it would roll off my table and shatter on my wood floor. For the amt of thought Lisa puts into the formulas, the packaging, especially at this price point should be functional - I'd rather my base product stand securely on my table than fit snugly in my purse. Ok, rant over! As always, your reviews are the best!!

I think the new pencils from LE are intended for people who need to draw-sculpt outside the lip-line. Like if you have very thin lips or uneven shape you want to change. To apply it first to get the shape you want, and then follow up with a liner that matches the lipstick.

The emerald lipstick looks beautiful. Wonder why one is gritty.. The pink looks shinier than the peach 🤔that's disappointing.
The "cool" LE lip liners both have some orange/red in them and no purple. I guess you could call them neutral warm leaning? 1C is actually a good nude for me because my lips have a peachy tone mixed in w cool pink and are neither cool nor warm.

My only gripe with the LE skin tint, is the color. The only cool toned is #1. It looks fantastic on you and is my perfect undertone but I’m slightly darker than you. In Chanel, I’m a BR22. I can use neutral if they are a balanced neutral and not warm leaning. I really don’t like buying two products to achieve a perfect match.
Agree on the lipliners. They are warm and need a cooler version. Lipliners for me are just difficult to begin with. I don’t really care for the darker outlined look. So I stick to a clear liner for the most part. Someday I hope to find the perfect liner and want to try the Makeup by Mario ones that you suggested in one of your other videos.

It’s really a sheer tint. It’s pretty. So many I have heard said it’s fussy on application. If you have any pores or bumps. I don’t see that ! Did I see the right price on ESTEE LAUDER. $88 and or $100. For ONE ? for the lip ? Wow they have really added to the Lux. I didn’t know it was so high. Interesting. THE EYE LINER ON YOU LOOKS SO PRETTY. The LE. I ALSO WANT TO SEE A MAUVE

Lexi, what eyeshadow are you wearing here? Is it the Suqqu blue spring quad? (Looks beautiful). I agree that the LE mascara is fantastic. I don’t use mascara on a regular basis because I’m super picky, dislike the artificial clumpy effect and potential for smudging, and my lashes are quite sensitive to more aggressive removal. This one ticks all of the boxes for me!

What didn’t you like about the LE original,foundation? I’ve been trying the foundation samples for a while now, and it seems I’m not so keen on the formula, maybe, either - it seems to catch on dry skin but be “oily” too - I can’t describe why, which is why I’m asking 😊 - I did get the tint, so I hope I like it and it’s encouraging that you do too
That is the exact issue I have with the foundation and it is hard to verbalize the issue!! Sometimes it will look nice but often, the texture just seems off and patchy. I also had a hard time with a color match but I believe she has since expanded the range and I haven't tried her newer shades.
I disposed of my LS lipsticks and gloss. Colors are beautiful but of all high-end lipsticks I owned, nothing stuck to my teeth like her formula. Ever. I truly love Cinnabar, but never on my teeth.

I could never get it to look great on me. It was very finicky and I found that it just didn't hold up well over the day. Color matching was also very challenging. The skin tint though has been really nice! I have heard of a some people requesting samples successfully from customer service so perhaps they would send you some samples to try.
@@LexiJong the foundation always looked so dry on me, even when I added oil into it or put oil on my face before. Do you think the tint would be more suited to dryness/dehydration?
I think the tint is probably best for when your skin is in good shape so if you add a moisturizer prior to the tint, it will probably work out better than the foundation but I'm not sure how forgiving it will be.
Could you compare the longevity of the LE skin tint vs the Chanel Les beiges water fresh?

What is Lauder doing with a $100 lipstick? They have zero prestige as a brand. In fact, you may remember I broke my lifetime No Buy from Lauder for their Lunar New Year compacts, when I bought the Year of the Rabbit. So I was excited to get Year of the Dragon. They shipped that compact in an old box to me and it was clearly a return. That quickly turned into another return, from me. And they lost me as a collector. My bunny compact is fine, but I'm done with Estee Lauder. Add to that the fact that they ruin every brand they buy, and I'm really done. Cle de Peau has good reason to charge more for their makeup. They're worth it. So no comparison.
But enough of my rant. I Love, love, Love what you've done with that Rivage eye palette. If I had seen anyone demo it like that I would have bought it. Just beautiful on you! Also love C2 in Lisa's pencils on you, and her skin tint. You look lovely in this. But I agree, she over hyped these lip pencils. Thanks for the video and Happy Monday!💚
That is so disappointing! EL really seems like they need to review their brand identity and focus on basics again. I really like the new lipsticks they launched last year but I feel like the line as a whole seems like it isn't cohesive anymore.

Where's the Blush to coordinate with these color stories you've built? Where's a new kind of highlighter, or better yet a blushlighter? The last thing I want or need is another cleanser. Now she's hyping these lip liners as something they're not. Also, she completely missed the move toward shiny lip colors with her liquid lipstick launch. Her Lucents are shiny but sheers that have zero staying power. I don't know. Maybe Lancome is taking up a lot of her time. But she needs to commit to her own line, and I haven't seen that since her eye palette launch. Which I loved BTW. Another rant. But it's something that's been bugging me.

Lisa tint is nice but nothing special. Plus I absolutely HATE her packaging. Like her other foundation, it won't stand up,and doesn't fit in cabinets or drawers. Igh.
Yes, the packaging is just not very functional for most people. I'm sure she has a great space for all of her products but most people do not.
