Blitzø's dream sequence revealed a lot about him. That in every meaningful relationship he ever had, he ended up pushing them away to the point they hated him. And he's not only afraid of pushing Stolas away too, but also worried that Stolas doesn't actually love him. That's why Blitzø treats Moxxie the way he does, so he won't get hurt if he pushes Moxxie away too.
Honestly Me and Blitzø actually relate alot.
He's not worried stolas doesn't love him. He fully believes stolas can't _actually_ love him. That nobody can really.
I think he pushes people away because he feels they would never truly care about him so the more attached he allows himself to get with them and the more he allows himself to think they care, the more hurt he will be when it all falls apart. But also anyone who does care about him may get hurt cos of him and he doesn't really want to lose them.
Poor blitz tries surrounds himself in what he wants but can't allow himself to actually think its possible for him so he also pushes those very things away.
The bit where Stolas terrifies the humans is always my favorite part.
You know, Blitzo’s hallucination is actually what made him one of the most relatable characters for me personally out of any other favorite character I have. That line: I believe your self-conscious is trying to tell you that you simply cannot fathom proper intimacy, but also crave it as well. That just hits you like a train.
Fun little tidbits, the rune used to summon Stolas by the dead agents and Agent 2 is the actual rune for Stolas in the Ars Goetica. Additionally, demons summoned like this can't actually harm their summoner, so that's probably a good reason why Stolas doesn't just send them down first.
This is one of my favorite episodes. The music, the combat scenes, and Stolas' summoning are just absolutely amazing.
Blitzo and Moxxie coming to an understanding is enjoyable, but I really love Stolas in this. Stolas is a strange guy: prissy, sex-starved, and out-of-touch. His goofy personality makes it easy to forget that he is demon royalty, a prince of the Ars Goetia. He's intelligent and educated, talented with magic, and more than willing to be ruthless and terrifying. Did you see the look Blitzo was giving him? I think this is the first time he's witnessed Stolas' power and realizes just what his partner is capable of.

It's a difficult reference to spot but a musical/play person can catch it
This still is one of the best episodes thanks to both Blitzo an Moxie character development and the amaizing massacre at the end❤❤❤

Blitzø’s hallucination is a little complicated to understand at first but when it actually clicks on what it all meant, you realize just how messed up Blitzø’s life has been from his past to now
Okay freaking LOVE Stolas. Best character ever! I knew he was gonna be the one to rescue his little imp lol. He’s just so awesome and a really wonderful blend of dorky, flamboyant totally uninhibited And absolutely terrifying. Maybe it’s just because I’ve been revisiting Shadowhunters but does anyone else get a bit of a Magnus Bane feel there? I think I need to search fanfics I feel like a team of the two would be flamboyantly terrifying lol

S. is inspired in many ways by Men in Black, like from Conspiracy theories and Urban Legends about this secret organization and mysterious persons who allegedly know and hide from the world the fact of the existence of aliens and other supernatural, as well as by its version from Marvel Comics and movies franchise and animated series. It was also inspired by the organizations Millennium, Iscariot, and Hellsing from the anime and manga Hellsing, as well as The Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense from the Hellboy franchise and Monarch from Monsterverse. Also, Hunters squads, groups and organizations from Supernatural. The characters of the Agents, in particular Agent 1, are inspired by Dib Membrane from the TV series Invader Zim, from the exterior design to character traits, in particular the fascination with the supernatural and paranormal and the desire to reveal the truth about dangerous creatures to the world. From the same series, in addition to the incompetence of the agents, we can add Bill, a cool-looking, but believing in a lot of nonsense, the former idol of Dib. Still my absolute favorite episode from the series. There's just way too much good content in this one from all sides. I'm really curious to see if the agents become a thing again later on.

yeah, not a big fan of the fight sequences in this one. i'm sure they animators had fun experimenting with some new tech, but the angles and the way the camera moves during the fight just feels unnatural and distracting to me.
