THANK GOD SOMEONE GOT TO THE POINT IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS FOR LIKE A WEEK!
Thank you. Glad you liked it.
😮
😮 for all the other videos i saw with diamond art, i thought they just bought their canvases with the paper on it! thank you so much!
You are so welcome!
bro I litterly thought that too and thought they hade the luxurious life
lol, I use the plastic but using dust proof sheets is a lot easier. Now I’m trying this!!
Thanks! I couldn’t tell from other videos if parchment paper would work or if I needed to get a specific type of paper. 👍👍
I think that is a wrap paper(?) or like an oil paper
@@Yeolandait’s parchment paper
Finally, the answer I’ve been looking for. Thanks
Wow! This is a lifesaver!!!! I’m obsessed with diamond painting!!!! Thanks for the tip!!! ❤
Happy to help!
Yes that’s what I use for mine that come with plastic covers! The one I just got today has paper on it precut into sections though☺️
I bought the sheets for diamond painting, and sectioning it off is hard. Then I found your video and just used the parchment, and I will be using your trick from now on. Thank you!
How do you make sure you don’t cut the canvas ?
Just don't press down too hard
It’s kinda thick and hard to cut in on swoop you can cut it it’s just hard
Good question thank you for asking glad I read comments first because I was going to ask same thing 😊
What's the point of this I've been doing these for a couple years and never saw ppl so this till very recently
@@user-rperryeasier sectioning I would assume.
I just use the plastic and pull it back up when I’m done on that side. I go Color by number so yeah
Same, I was wondering if it was easier or not?
@@melissalockhart284 I mean it is for me, that way I don’t have to buy more expensive stuff and also what I do if I accidentally skip a diamond is I have a backup tray with the other Color to fill
Thank you so much for showing that parchment paper. I was tired searching for that what's that paper sticking up for painting. Thanks a lot. I got it.
You are so welcome! Glad it was helpful!
😍 This makes me even more excited to get my first diamond painting!
P.S. Everyone should watch the lives - they're fun & he does giveaways! ❤
Thank you so much!! You're going to love diamond painting.
I try this and it work great on a small budget.
TYSM I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO DO IT!!!!!!!!!
Be careful with parchment. I tried it and because it’s so thin it ripped on me it was hard to take it off afterwards ( I went slow too). I only left it on for a day. But whatever works. It’s a fun activity!
Did you use the non stick type of parchment paper?
Omg that's so smart!!! I've just been slowly peeling back the plastic lol 😅
Right! This is so much more fun.
@whitewolf24sx I’ve been the same thing 👌🏾
Great tip ❤
this video was helpful!
Ok i have idea now..❤ thank you.
heyyy! How do you use the blade without cutting through the actual canvas?
I never knew about this I need to do this
Or just leave the wrap on and not wast parchment paper
Wow! Iv never thought of this. Does the parchment paper dry out the glue at all?
Not at all.
No - and do not use wax paper - it will stick and not remove if left there too long.
@@Helping_Hands_VA thank you soo much before I will go do it because I would
Love your vids
Thank you very much!!
Your welcome
I thought you had to buy the paper specifically for diamond paintings. I always have parchment paper on hand. Thank you!✨😅
So cool
Thank you!
Thank you 🙏🏽
Make sure to use the glossy side. Not the papery side. The paper side will stick to the canvas
Thanks that’s really good to know
Is it shiny face down or up?
Q papel es ese?
Do u have to put the paper?
Where i can found it
I use wax paper and cut it in four sections,
great idea
can i use wax paper instead of parchment paper? thanks for the answer. ❤
Dont! I did that and the wax paper got stuck on the canvas and I couldn't get it out!
Regular Parchment sticks to the canvas
What side of parchment paper do you use ON the sticky bit ? I can’t get large sheets of release paper anywhere and those little bits drive me insane thank you 😊
I don't think the side matters as long as it is parchment paper
@@diamondxpres-diamondpainting thank you 😊
On est obligé de mettre le papier cuisson ?
which side of the parchment paper is touching the canvas, the waxy side or the matte side?
I don't think it matters. We just unroll it and place it.
Can bonded paper be used?
probably not.
How do you cut it out using parchment paper
Thanks I was trying to figure out what kind of paper that was. No clue it was wax😂😂😂
Never use wax paper, only parchment paper.
But how to you approach the cutting of parchment for the block your gonna diamond paint?
Why does everyone remove the film to put parchment on top? Mine comes with a thicker opaque film over it so I can fold it over to work on small sections at a time. This way I don't cut my canvas with an exact-o knife.
If it's to expedite flattening the canvas instead of waiting for it to flatten i just peel the film back on each end about 2 inches and lay it back down.
Just makes it easier. The plastic you can't tear with your fingers, and it has to be cut. Parchment paper can just be torn. Also, it's easier to see if there's anything over the canvas. Sometimes tiny bits of plastic get stuck, and you can't stick your drills down
@@acorn297 makes sense
Which side of the parchment paper goes down first sorry if I am not making any sense
Either side works fine. No difference.
But why would we replace the plastic with parchment paper?
I asked the same question lol
I can tell you why after starting my first canvas recently: the plastic is shiny which creates a lot of glare from overhead lights. It's annoying, so I took the plastic off mine and replaced it with baking paper. No more refleted light in my eyes!
You can tear Parchment paper with your fingers. The plastic film won't tear. It has to be cut. Also, sometimes it's hard to tell if you got the plastic off all the way. Tiny peices get stuck and your diamonds don't stick. It's easier to tell where the canvas is sticky
does baking paper work the same?
No i tried it messed up canvas
No messes up canvas
@@michelle.mustow593 actually it doesn't i tried you just have to be carefull
Does bake paper also work?
Wax paper will not. Just cookie sheets / parchment paper.
Did not know you can use parchment paper for diamond paintings
Works like magic
What does the parchment paper do ?
It doesn't do anything
It makes it so you can cut it into sections!
@@0RavenSkullz0 and what does sections do
@@Lexi_0626 It’s so you can just peel and color!
@@0RavenSkullz0 but can't you just use the plastic and peel it too? Cuz I do Dimond painting and i think it's inefficient
Damn im a beginner at this ..am i doing this all wrong??? I thought you keep that plastic on the part you sint doing and what part you are doing plastic obviously off then when your done for the moment you put the plastic back on like cover jt and use a heavy book lay it on top? Am i messing it all up.??😩😩
Hi can I use butter paper instead of parchment paper?
Is butter paper wax paper? If so, no. Only parchment paper works.
What is that paper you put on the image?
Parchment paper. Check out some of the other videos where we show that.
this works whit baking paper ?
Where did you get the cutter!! 🫶🏽
it seems to be your run-of-the-mill exacto knife....what I wonder is how he/she manages to cut the paper without cutting down into the canvas....
Can I use any parchment paper for one from temu
Can we take simple paper pls tell it's important
Parchment paper / cookie sheets only
damnit im not allowed to own an axacto knife ;-;
would a normal knife work?
Do I need to put parchment paper on if so what if I don’t have a knife thingy?
You don't need to put parchment paper on, but if you do scissors should work just fine.
Okay thanks!
Is there a product available for if the canvas is no longer sticky? I'm about to start my first diamond painting and I'm so afraid of letting the canvas dry. I know about cuting smaller area to work with but my anxiety needs preemptive solutions to hypothetical problems
You can get a special glue to "re-tack" the surface. I accidentally bought a bottle thinking I was buying sealant. :)
i did this and when i took it off the small bits would stay on the canvas making me having to take my nail to take it off and ended up ruining the glue on it
Did you use the same brand of parchment paper as in the video?
What happenes if your parchement paper doesn't fit your canvas
In that case we use extra sheets of parchment paper and cut to fit. Takes a little more time and is a good topic for another video. Thank you.

Esto es papel manteca😅 sí o no
I have one
I keep getting these videos recommended and don't understand the process. Why can't you just cut the sheet that comes on it?
Mine comes with thicker film... not the see through film. So I just fold over the section I want to work on instead of removing all the film.
The only thing I can think of is that... instead of waiting for the canvas to flatten you can remove the film to get it to lay flat. My film comes in sections (not one big piece) so I just pull the sections on both ends about 2 inches and lay them back down on the canvas. Works just as well
@@melaniephillips8556Out of the last five DP kits I bought, only the custom photo one came with opaque sheets in three sections; the rest was covered with a flimsy transparent sheet of plastic with many creases.
@AH-ux6kk that stinks. I think I've only had one canvas come with that flimsy stuff, and I ordered it from Amazon. I order from Paint With Diamonds and they all come with the thicker film.
Hi when I use parchment paper it doesn’t stick am I doing something wrong? 😊
I heard that when you use wax paper the wax paper sticks to the painting and it wont come off so i dont dare to do it
Wax paper and parchment paper are not the same.Use non stick parchment paper.I hope this helps 😊
You are correct. Parchment paper only.
Thank you.
What's the purpose of parchment paper?
So the glue doesn't dry out, that way you can have your canvas covered without the risk of the plastic lifting or getting anything on the canvad as well.
Is it better than just using the plastic that comes on it?
@@francaisnihongoyes
Do you have to use parchment paper
Ugh. My Parchment paoer wouldn't stick to mine. It just came right back off. Its the sams club brand. 😮
Can you use wax paper?
No. It won't work!
Why did u take the plastic of then u put oven thing on?
Where do you get that
Could I just use normal paper
Hi! Parchment (or baking) paper is something you can get in a grocery store. The point is that it is non-sticky. Normal paper will get destroyed :)
Plzzz help me order the customized diamond painting plzzz suggest the link
What's that sheet u get the painting printed called ?
It’s called Diamond Painting!
Why you need the paper on top of it
Where do you get that one
