  • An investigation into how clinicians treated patients during the influenza pandemic of 1918 led Dr. Seheult to surmise that hydrotherapy involving heat may influence the innate immune system, perhaps impacting the course of COVID-19 disease. Modern-day physical therapists use heat hydrotherapy practices to treat a variety of muscular ailments. Dr. Seheult outlines a low-risk protocol involving hot and cold towels, followed by rest that anyone can use at home. In this clip, Dr. Roger Seheult discusses the biological plausibility of incorporating heat hydrotherapy into the treatment of COVID-19.

Why could you not do something similar by taking a hot bath or shower and the following it up with a burst of cold water?

This june of 2023 I am presenting (at the International Functional Medicine Meeting) a case of a man with Bilateral infiltration of the lungs due to COVI19 who refused to receive hospital treatment and asked the Adventist doctor to treat him with hydrotherapy alone. A remarkable cure after three applications of hydrotherapy (hot and cold chest Pack, followed by Activated charcoal poultices. Pretty amazing to see how the acute phase proteins and the inflammation went down immediately after the 3 treatments. Systematically and coorectly applied this treatment could have saved the lives of millions of pepole. It did so in the pandemic , and this is well reported by nurses and their students connected to a boarding school in Pennsylvania during the 1918 Flu pandemic

@@greentea1986 we use a different protocol. You don’t heat the patient up because the real patient already has parexia or fever. This treatment was used in the 1918 epidemic. I have used it in both viral and bacterial respiratory conditions with 98% success rate

@@wiltonpt1 I never take pcm for my fever. I had dengue once and rejected pcm for 5 days and landed up in the hospital. Lol. Man the fever was like running 39-40/day.
I was drifting in and out of conscious and hallucinating. Lol.
I am still not a fan of pcm, never use pcm cause I belived it slow the body ability to get rid of the pathogens.

@@greentea1986 during covid I gave some but not current. But there are some videos on line teaching the hot chest packs under hydrotherapy.
Fever is a friend especially in viral diseases. It’s easy to manage with neutral temp baths, cold cloths on the neck and forehead arm pits and groin area. This will lower temp when not too high to avoid any of the loss of consciousness symptoms during the fever which is not safe
Medications to lower fever are potentially a complicating factor as it’s easy to lower fevers to safe levels with water immersions packs fan alcohol dressings without side effects
