This summer is already proving a tricky one for people with hay fever. Pollen counts are rising and more of us are experiencing symptoms than ever before. But it’s not just pollen. From airborne allergens to the food on our plates, or the chemicals and plants that touch our skin, around 40% of the global population has some form of allergic disease. By 2030, today’s guest reveals, 50% of us will be affected.

For years on end, I had really bad allergies. Over a decade of sneezing hundreds of times per day, all day, for every reason you can imagine: beds, dust mites, perfumes, pollen, cats, sitting on a couch, walking down the street, entering a home, getting inside a car, etc. Simply living made me sneeze, and all doctors wanted to do was give me a very expensive treatment that involved getting injections for around a year or something like that. I never liked that idea, so for whatever reason I intuitively cut out sugar as much as I could, stopped eating processed foods and dairy products, and began to fast every now and then for a day. That is it. No more allergies 🧐I hope this helps someone.
Edit: Working out and stressing as less as possible also helps, because working out enhances your immune system and stress hormones have a negative impact on it. ♥️

Same here. I was intolerant (IgG) to pretty much 20 or 30 foods.
Now about 5 left, after getting my act together, when it comes to healthy food. Plus water fasting at times up to 5 days.
In fact, I'm on my first 6 day water fast now.

@@advex4428 I am glad you found your way around it because it is misery. In my case, I was not allergic to any specific foods, but to dust, cats, fluffy things, beds, trees, walking down the street, sitting on a couch, spring, perfumes, you name it, I was sneezing hundreds of times per day, my nose was itchy, my eyes were swollen, and tissues were everywhere around my house. I do not know what it was, but food definitely had something to do with it. Keep up the work to keep on feeling better 💕💕

The gut brain theory is 100% true. I have many food interlorences caused from severe stress after losing my wife. Foods I have always ate are now causing problems. Ive also noticed when I am eating, just a negative thought can literally bring on an allergic reaction that lowers BP and starts a anaphlaxis episode, which is scary as fuck when your on your own. I always have activated charcoal near me.

0:20: 🤧 Around 30-40% of the global population currently have some form of allergic disease, but experts predict this will increase to 50% in the next decade.
22:05: 🐝 Allergic reactions to bee stings are rare, with a low chance of death, especially compared to other risks like car crashes or slipping in the bathtub.
33:06: 😷 Allergies are a significant and growing problem with profound effects on people's lives.
38:04: 🤔 The rise in allergies is a societal problem caused by environmental factors and lifestyle choices.
51:30: 🤔 The exposure to man-made chemicals and air pollution can negatively affect our microbiome and contribute to allergies and asthma, which are societal issues.
1:04:38: 🌍 Our immune system was built for a different world with more exposure to venomous things and parasites, leading to the development of allergic and autoimmune responses.
1:17:47: 🔑 The health of the gut microbiome is crucial for preventing allergies and autoimmune diseases, but societal factors like access to quality food and healthcare systems can hinder support for parents and children in their early years.
1:30:15: 🌍 Our microbiome plays a crucial role in our health and interacts with the external world through our barriers in the gut, respiratory tract, and skin.
1:43:27: 🌍 Our modern lifestyle and environment have contributed to the rise in allergies in humans and pets.
1:56:00: 💡 The immune systems of humans and animals are affected by their diets, and the chemicals in our environment can disrupt our microbiomes and immune systems, leading to allergies.
2:13:06: 🤧 Allergy treatments have remained the same for the last 100-150 years, with antihistamines and inhalers being the primary options, but they are not perfect and can have side effects.
2:20:11: 😷 Allergic diseases are on the rise globally, and while there are new therapies being developed, there is still a long way to go in finding a cure or effective treatment.

Respiratory allergies that I would term severe caused me to often suffer as a child. Runny nose, sneezing, congestion, head ache were constant in the summer months. Ear infections caused damage to my inner ear and caused two mastoid surgeries. I was referred to an allergy doctor in the 1960 era. He was emphatic about measures that my parents must take to provide me relief from allergy symptoms. I underwent immune therapy shots for over 10-years. My mother collected house dust which was used to create a serum that was injected frequently. My parents were told to install an electronic filter on their furnace, my mother was told how to clean her house, plastic bags were put on bed mattresses and sheets were washed often. No pets were to be allowed. I think that these measures, as indicated by skin tests, were effective in reducing my allergy symptoms. As I grew older my allergy symptoms became less severe. I read that this is common but the immunotherapy may have also helped. I am now 75 years old. I now live on the Pacific Ocean and far from my midwestern birth place. I still suffer some effects from indoor allergens, but the indoor air filters I installed seem to help. I recently removed my gas range and put in an induction range top. It also seems to help some. I have a c-pap machine and use a full-face mask that filters the air I breath while sleeping. This also seems an effective strategy. We have two dogs, but they don’t cause adverse allergic reactions. I can’t be in the same home with some cats however. I thought it might be helpful to allergy sufferers if I described my life experiences.

Dehydration also causes histamine levels to rise which was my problem. I thought I was getting allergies but in fact I was dehydrated all the time. Started hydrating more and my allergies symptoms went away completely. Just thought I'd throw that in for those that find they don't hydrate enough and get random allergy type events.

I can tell you, this does not work if there is an underlying gut issue.
I subconsciously knew drinking water often alleviated some allergic issues, so whenever I was having hay fever reaction I would drink.
However at some point this meant I would drink 6L of water per day and my kidneys were suffering for it. Had to go through hospital stuff.
So, don't be me and try and figure out what's upsetting your gut. Try not eating breakfast and lunch on a sunday and then see how you feel. If you are not having allergic reactions by dinner time then you kind of know. If you don't live alone and someone is watching you, you could try fasting for a longer time. After this try to figure out what's upsetting your gut. I personally try to cut out the processed crap as much as possible, but there's also other things I cut. Although there are also things you may want to try to add instead.

Fasting can help a great deal with allergies, which stem from the gut. Fasting fixes the gut and also gets rid of the problem immune cells and replaces them with ones that function properly! Some benefits of doing occasional extended fasting: High blood pressure is lowered to normal levels very quickly while fasting.
    Fibrosis/scarring is reversed over time.
    Fasting increases nitric oxide release.
Fasting restores NAD+ to healthy levels.
Vitamin D plasma levels are increased as fasting improves metabolic health, and vitamin D in turn increases autophagy.
Fasting stimulates phagocytosis, the ingestion of bacteria, plaques and viruses by the immune system. It will also remove any 'foreign material' like spikes that are not supposed to be there. Whether natural or unnatural in origin..
Telomeres are lengthened and fasting also increases anti-aging Yamanaka factors.
Blood clotting is reduced and blood clots and arterial plaque are reabsorbed into the body.
Fasts from 36-96 h increase metabolic rate due to norepinephrine release!
After 72 hours or more fasted, your body recycles up to 1/3 of all immune bodies, rejuvenating your entire immune system.
Fasting can help with MS, Depression, BPD, Autism and seizures.
Thymus is regenerated, which suppresses aging and renews the immune system. The thymus also plays a vital role in fighting cancer.
Blood sugar and insulin are lowered when fasting, allowing white blood cells to move more freely throughout the body and do their job. Some viruses activate glycolosis (the release of sugar in the body) and clinically it has been shown that decreasing glucose metabolism in the body weakens the influenza virus.
Weight loss from daily caloric restriction has 1/4 to 1/3 of the weight lost as lean tissue while many studies show fat loss from 36 h fasts without losing any lean tissue! The hunger hormone ghrelin also lowers with extended fasting and rises from dieting.
When you move out of MTOR your body shuts down the building blocks of the cell required for viruses to replicate.
What breaks a fast? Anything with protein or carbohydrates in it will break a fast. Most teas and herbs are OK. Most supplements and meds will either break ketosis directly or contain a filler that will. Many meds are dangerous to take while fasting.
Does fasting lower testosterone? No, it raises it when the fast is broken by increasing lutenizing hormone. Fasting also increases insulin sensitivity, which helps with muscle building.
Fasts of 36-96 will not affect short term female fertility or affect menstrual cycle. They also may increase long term fertility, especially in women with PCOS.
Fasting reduces pain and anxiety by stimulating the endocannabinoid system in a similar way to CBD oil.
Fasting very quickly reduces leptin resistance, which impairs immune function. One day of fasting can cut your leptin levels in half and gets your immune system working properly again!
Stomach acid is reduced over time while fasting and can allow for the healing of treatment resistant ulcers. Some patients may need continued acid reduction medication while fasting.
Does the body preferentially prefer glucose as a fuel? No. Except for brief periods of very intense exercise, your body mainly burns fats in the form of free fatty acids. Your brain also prefers to burn ketones at a rate of around 2.5 to 1 when they are available in equal quantity to glucose.
Fasting stimulates the AMPK complex and activates autophagy. Autophagy (literally self eating) will cause cells to recycle foreign matter such as viruses and kill cancerous and senescent cells
Lowering insulin via fasting virtually eliminates chronic inflammation in the body.
It increases mitochondrial function and repairs mitichondrial DNA, leading to improved ATP production and oxygen efficiency.
Fasting releases BDNF and NGF in the blood which stimulates new nerve and brain cell growth. This can help a great deal with diseases like MS, peripheral neuropathy and Alzheimers.
When not in ketosis, the brain can only burn carbohydrate, which produces a great deal of damaging ROS the brain has to deal with.
Fasting also increases telomere length, negating some of the effects of aging at a cellular level.
When you fast, this stimulates apoptosis in senescent or genetically damaged cells, destroying them. Senescent cells are responsible for many of the effects of aging and are a root cause of the development of cancer.
A fasting mimicking diet for 3-5 days in a row also provides many of the same benefits as water fasting. FMD usually has 200-800 calories, under 18 g of protein and extremely low carbs.
Exogenous ketones can aid with fasting, making it easier in healthy people and allowing some people with specific issues to fast in spite of them without worrying as much about hypoglycemia.
Children, pregnant or nursing women should not fast for periods longer than 16 hours. People with pancreatic tumors or certain forms of hypoglycemia generally cannot fast at all. Type 1 diabetics can also fast but it is more complicated and should be approached with caution as it could lead to ketoacidosis. If you experience extreme symptoms of some kind, especially dizziness or tremors, then simply break the fast and seek advice.

I was surprised that so few of the 100s and 1000s of kids that came through the school didn't have allergies and yet so many children have allergies in Australia. They used to have these wonderful free school lunches made fresh with so many different veggies and meats & kimchi. Westernisation of the diet has moved in with pizza 🍕 white bread and cake but this daily healthy lunch seemed to make the children very healthy and resilient in spite of this.

I live in South Korea and food allergies and hay fever are still rare. Interestingly skin allergies are common, especially for kids. Young Koreans these days are generally not exposed to nature or dirt and tend to clean their homes pretty obsessively so that might be part of the issue.

Korea still has good school lunches but lots of candy and snacks and other unhealthy foods have found their way into the country and more young children here eat more of these foods these days. I don’t know what Korea was like say 25 years ago but these days there are more of the foods we consider bad for health and more and more children are having weight issues. This was probably almost unheard of a couple of decades ago in Korea. There are lots of healthy side dishes here, like kimchi. But I guess things like allergies will rise here, too.

I want to share my experience with long fasting and my allergies.
This podcast has been so enlightening. I've had hayfever / dust allergy since I was 10 (I'm now 45), and managed it for a long time with breath control (pranayama). It helped immensely but I still had a problem dealing with dust / dust mites around the house, even small amounts of mold in any scenario, etc. I left off the pranayama practice for a while around 2018 and around the time COVID started my allergies started to re-emerge in a big way.
That's some background. But what I am excited to share is this - three weeks ago I did a five-day water fast, my first time with a long fast. I went into it hoping to help heal a tendon injury in my foot. I left off taking any anti-histamines (which I was specifically taking because I'd been travelling and my house had been shut up for a couple of months, so I knew I would be sneezing my lungs out if I didnt)
I spent the whole of the first and second days of the fast sneezing. The second and third days were tough, not only because of the fast itself but because I had this searing intense "pain" under my cheekbones. But what happened after that was interesting. As that pain subsided, I realized I wasn't sneezing as much anymore, and then it completely stopped. COMPLETELY. It's been two weeks now, I'm back to my regular diet, and apart from the occasional sneeze at some point in the day, I find that my allergy has disappeared. The real litmus test for me was going to my mother's house, and it's super-dusty because she's old and can't be bothered. I'm usually sneezing or feeling my nose reacting within half an hour of arriving there - or I take an antihistamine as soon as I get there because there's no other way I can manage. But this time, I stayed for two full days and I was perfectly fine, no sneezing, no anti-histamine. This is almost absurd to me, because, like you've discussed, it's so much a part of who I am and how I manage my world. And it was not somehting that I expected the fast to do. I'm hoping it stays gone, but that remains to be seen.
I'm not sure it would work for everyone, of course, but wanted to share this aspect of my experience with fasting. Slightly long-winded, but that's just me excited! Love this conversation, and all the information you bring to the world!

I shared my story in the comment section, and it is similar to yours. Fasting stopped over a decade of sneezing hundreds of times per day, all day, for every reason you can imagine: beds, dust mites, perfumes, pollen, cats, sitting on a couch, walking down the street, entering a home, getting inside a car, etc. Simply living made me sneeze. I cut out dairy and sugar, began to fast every now and then, and have never sneezed again. 🥳🥳🥳

I have suffer from allergies since I was a kid. I stop eating seed oils and used grass feed pork fat instead. I stop eating refined bread and tortillas. Just ate beef and fish a few veggies ( onions, mushrooms, brocc, avocado 🥑 etc.) and fruit also raw milk and I only ate when I was really really hungry. All allergies are gone, my gallbladder problem is gone. My sciatica is gone. I finally feel alive after 43 years. Junk food or just a bad diet is nothing but pure evil and hell. You won’t ever go back to eating like that after you feel the effects of a good diet. And if you do well you go to hell not me. Also I thought I was gonna spend a lot of money on a organic grass fed food. Bug turns out I’m spending waaaaaaaay less money in groceries. I think it’s because now when I eat right; I don’t feel full or bloated; I just feel satiated. As opposed to the bad diet when I keep eating and eating. I was always feeling hungry and bloated at the same time, always felt like I wanted to burp, fart and take a dump but I couldn’t do none. Keep in mind I’m not obese at all. Actually I have always been in my weight. Maybe 4 or 5 lbs above my appropriate weight. I think one of our greatest mistakes is that we take food as a pleasure. We have to start seeing food as our medicine for the body and soul. One more thing before this diet I used to have lustful thoughts, even that changed. My mind started to be at peace. See no evil, eat no evil and you’ll be fine my brothers and sisters. Everything seems to fold into place.

The usual medicines did not work very well and were very uncomfortable for me to take, I would feel jittery and sleepy at the same time. A few years ago I tried doing a ketogenic diet during allergy season and it seemed to reduce my symptoms by about 95%. So, every year I do a ketogenic diet for a few months during that season and don't need to take any medication. Anyway, that worked for me.

I’m 60+ & developed hay fever age 9. Grass pollen & cats are my main triggers. I used to suffer quite badly throughout June till about mid July but thankfully it’s much less of an issue as I got older. I was brought up in a very clean home (though far less chemicals in products back then) & recall having several doses of antibiotics for ear/throat infections as a child. Back in 2011 as I was going through the menopause, plus a big house move, then the sudden death of someone very close to me - so quite a stressful time - I developed eczema. Luckily for me it’s been very mild & only seems to affect a small area on my back & neck. I agree people who don’t have experience of allergies can often think we overplay it but it’s a very real issue & can have knock on effects mentally & emotionally. Histamine reactions are often due to deep cellular dehydration.
Many have found relief by dumping refined & processed ‘Carbage’ which really dehydrates the body. Even some drinks - anything sugar-laden & or chemical additive-laden, tea, coffee, alcohol, etc, which force the body to use way more water to process the substances in them than the drink supplies, can be very dehydrating.
But hydration isn’t just about drinking water. It’s also about getting enough minerals - electrolytes - so the body can use the water properly. Drinking water on its own can deplete the minerals. The best way to get the minerals is unrefined grey, moist sea salt.
I’ve proved this myself. A pinch of sea salt & good glass of water has nipped ‘allergic’ reactions in the bud many a time. Since focusing on rehydration I’ve had no histamine reactions at all. And my insulin resistance is improving.
Darko Velcek (on here) speaks a lot about the benefits of proper rehydration.

During lunch, I made a plate of 7 small portions of healthy foods. My son asked me why I had so many foods on my plate. I very casually said "I'm feeding the good bugs". Then I burst out laughing thinking, what if I said that to people that have no idea what good bugs are. They would think I'm crazy lol. Then I thought, what if I also told them they had trillions of bugs in their gut. So I laughed even more. About 2 years ago, I had chronic stress for 1 year from my prior high stress job. I developed digestive issues, breathing issues, horrible leg cramps, depression and nerve problems. I even got bell's palsey where the right side of my face was paralyzed for about a month. After lots of research, I decided to eliminate stress by quitting my job then do an anti-inflammatory diet and focus on nutrition. After a month or so, all of my symptoms were gone. So, stress and over eating bad foods is what lead to my health problems.

Loved the talk and the comments which are so useful. I suffer from allergies too and this comments section is filled with us :) A community of allergy sufferers lol.
On a more serious note, I think some very obvious conclusions can be drawn and I would hope that in a future talk we could go on the questions given below:
Key points are that allergies really began in the 90's. A reduced microbiome and higher stress factors (both environmental and psychological) increase allergy prevalence and this is increasing. Projected to go from a 30-70 distribution to 50-50 by 2050.
    1. There is a very obvious (almost elephant in the room) correlation between pesticides and allergies. In this talk it was mentioned but just brushed past. Pesticide use increases the toxic load in us (quite possibly reducing our internal microbiome) when we consume produce that's covered in them. They diminish microbes in the soil, thereby in plants, and thereby in us. Perhaps focusing on those microorganisms which are detrimental for plants but probably beneficial for us to break down food (and other unknown effects) could be explored more and if true reintroduced?
    2. For those who develop allergies later in life, there must be a way to narrow down the reason why the body didn't classify the substance as a threat before but does so now? There was contradictory information regarding how the immune system could be like a bored toddler which clashes with this hypothesis, or on the other hand that the substance was always bad but the threshold of toxic load or stress wasn't breached therefore we were coping. Once again using this hypothesis, one could narrow down the delta - I wonder if there are any studies on this? Here once again there could be a connection to pesticides :).
    3. Im allergic to cats but developed it later in life. It made no sense until today, when you guys spoke about the deer, tick allergy pathway. That is probably what happened. Following this hypothesis, there's something in that tick's last meal (the cat's blood) that was a threat to me. Once again this leads to the same conclusion that allergies are being caused by overtly "benign," substances which are really vectors. This is very interesting because what we are allergic to could actually be a great signifier that there is perhaps a bacterial/fungalor parasitic imbalance within us which the immune system is overworked with and modern science diagnostics have not picked it up because the symptoms are missing (at the expense of overworking the immune system).
    4. There are certain species of bacteria like the streptomyces species which produce doxycycline an antibiotic. These bacteria could be working in symbiosis with our immune system to help us fight off out of control or balance pathogens. The study of these would be interesting to see.

I always think it strange when people say things like 'allergic to cats'. AFAIK there is no 'cat protein' or 'cat molecule'. There may be something about cats you are allergic to, but what is it? Maybe cat dander, cat hair, cat flea treatments, etc? What about dogs? Some people are not allergic to 'poodles' as they have different hair from other dogs/cats?

I had cellulitis a few years ago, after which I started to get really bad eczema. I tried many different skin creams, but it kept getting worse. I went to the doctors a few times, but all they did was prescribe steroid creams. They helped a little at first, but then it’d get worse again. Then I began to see articles about how it’s not good to use them for too long. They suggested reducing the number of products I was using and to only wash with water. I tried this and noticed some improvement.
Eventually I requested to see a dermatologist. They did patch testing and it turns out I’m allergic to something called linalool, which is in almost everything: cleaning products, hygiene products, some foods. I always have to check for it now. Even so I can’t possibly avoid it all the time, while travelling, eating out or visiting friends/family. Thankfully just lowering it as much as I can at home makes a big difference. I also try to take my diet into account when tackling allergies.

Having been a hay fever sufferer virtually all my life and suffered fairly severely before I was given medication I can tell you it’s not how high the pollen count is for the day but what the actual pollen is. So earlier than June the pollen count can be as high as you like and I’ll be fine but as soon as June arrives bam! It just hits me. The most helpful thing has been my nasal spray. I take nasal spray eye drops and tablets. However these past two years I have taken MSM which has helped my hayfever tremendously. I take my nasal spray and eye drops still but less of it and I have not had to resort to the tablets. MSM is great for muscles and joints which was my reason for taking it in the first place. I only found out by accident it helps with hayfever.

There hasn't been a single day for the last almost 3 years that I don't have DAILY symptoms. These symptoms are not limited to upper respiratory mucus production. I have gastrointestinal, cardiac, and neurological symptoms as well. I have had on-and-off allergies all my life (more on than off in the past decade) and the only thing that EVER worked for me was a Marisa Peer video right here on YT (since taken down for reasons unknown to me), which was a meditation about 20 minutes in length. In the video, she would first do an induction and then talk about how "brilliant" my (the listener's) immune system was and then supply lots of suggestions about how my immune system could easily distinguish between harmless chemicals and actual threats, like viruses. By the time I would get to the end of the video, my sinuses would be bone dry and I'd be feeling like a new person, so therefore my conclusion from that experience was that while, yes allergies may certainly be caused by environmental factors, clearly the mind has an overriding ability to cause or quash allergic responses. And in the absence of an ability to instantaneously evolve my immune system to cope with my ever-changing environment, I've found that hypnosis is really the key to remaining allergy-free. Or... maybe hypnosis IS THE WAY to instantaneously evolve one's immune system!

A lady doctor died of penicillin injection in Babylon many decades ago. One of our relatives died of B complex injection sent to her by her pharmacist daughter qualified and lived in Germany. Where ever we are, whenever we are , whatever we consume, given touched we may get allergy.listen to your body lucky me studied and practiced medicine. Thanks God blessings..

I wish you could provide time stamps on your videos. It would help those of us who are short on time to pick out the key parts we want to listen too. Otherwise, thanks for your great interviews.

Perhaps we viewers should do that for each other. This guy is already doing stuff for us for nothing. I do quite often do timestamps if the host asks for a listener to do it. But some hosts really don't like it to be done, because they really want the nuance to be heard rather than being treated as a commodity to gulp down.
We are all short of time. Maybe consider giving before asking to receive, or listening in long form rather than cherry picking for a quick fix? (I'm not being judgmental here - I really am thinking about it and I just mean it's an opportunity to ponder and examine our busyness, our consumer lifestyle, our willingness to listen to complexity, our demands on others, and also what we give out to others from ourselves.) 🙏😊

I would love to see someone do a deep dive into the ingredients within the required (by law) "preventatives" given to infants (up to 6 per office visit) and to children on up to and through school age. The amount of "preventatives" that are required now are staggering in comparison to when I was a child myself. I can't help wondering if there is some correlation. The laws changed in the mid to late 80's, I believe and the number has steadily increased since then. That's when I began noticing all the changes in children and their health issues, of varying types. I truly believe that some ingredients are causing children/people to be hyper sensitive to things in our environment even to foods. I believe it's worth looking into.

Please Dr Rangan Chatterjee 🙏 I never heard any mention of the impact of TOXIC MOULD on the health (unless I missed it) .. I have lived with allergies and asthma and many many things that you discussed on here and I agree with everything Theresa MacPhail said but I have recently come to the realisation that I most likely am suffering from DAMPNESS AND MOULD HYPERSENSITIVITY SYNDROME from exposure to Black Mould which ironically, is on the rise because of the modern building materials etc that we use to build dwellings and workplaces (particularly investment dwellings) .. still learning but I hope you see this comment as I would love to hear that be a part of the understanding around the health impacts and what can we do to reduce exposure to this as time goes on ..

Thank you for pointing out the absorption of products on skin. I developed recurrent acne on my face and scalp. I stopped using products and most makeup about 6 months into the pandemic. Now I only get a very occasional small pimple. I use only organic coconut oil when I can see that my skin is dry.

I'm not sure what I have done, but I have pretty close to zero allergies any more. Not sure if it is my strict diet of zero processed foods and purely non-chain organic foods, no coffee, no sodas, no alcohol, etc etc. But, I do see others around in have worse and increased allergies.

I’ve had anaphylactic shock three times in the last 25 years. My first time Auburn, Faith Hospital didn’t even acknowledge me. The person that brought me there yelled at them that I was dying. Then they did something. My second time there was a two hour wait again they ignored me at the hospital. A nurse had passed me up and asked me if I was having anaphylactic shock which I didn’t know the term. I told him I’m having an allergic reaction for that time they gave me something and my vitals went crazy. Sirens where going off, and they kick my wife out of the room because again I was dying. The other time I just used Benadryl and focused on my breathing. And that worked. There has been a handful of other times where are my ears and armpits are itching and Benadryl took care of it every time.

I switched to a pretty strict keto diet back in October. Regardless I do not eat ANY grains at all any more. My allergies are GONE. After suffering my entire life, and even doing allergy shots for over 10 years - NOTHING had given me great relief - until keto diet.

Please be careful what you believe or what sounds logical. I was born naturally and breastfed. My son was in distress and I had a C section and I also had not enough breastmilk and at two months needed to switch to formula. I have had horrible allegries and chemical sensitivities and my son age 44 has none. Now I am one case but I do not believe a c- section will create all this trouble. I do agree that chemicals in our food water and on our bodies contribute to allergies. Mine have greatly diminished getting rid of as much of these chemicals as possible. However I have had a discovery at 70 years of age. Recently I needed to go on glaucoma drops. They are prostaglandin based as beta blockers give me asthma. I started to notice that my allergic asthma diminished and my stomach issues, gerd, went away. I looked up this particular prostaglandin and sure enough this one can do both these things. Also I looked up symptoms of a deficiency and sure enough the reason I had a c- section is the lack of uterine contractions. And the hormone they give you to stimulate this problem is you guess it this prostaglandin. So I assume I am deficient in this hormone. Our bodies are very complex and wonderful. We are all truly unique🇨🇦

My hayfever disappeared when I quit dairy about 15 years ago. My boss at work had severe hayfever so I told him how I got rid of mine. He stopped dairy and his hayfever has gone. He went out for dinner and ate dairy in leek in cream sauce and his hayfever flared up straight away. This is just a couple weeks ago

Thank you so much for doing this podcast!! Allergies, intolerance, inflammation need to be addressed in a weekly series! This is a global problem.
Gluten free, lactose free, peanut free, shellfish, bees, cats, hay fever, this is a forever discussion! Everything we eat causes inflammation… to what degree? What nutrients are depleted in our soil? What are we eating? What role sugar plays lowering immunity. Treatment? Why do some people think allergies are all emotional.

The culprits come from processed foods and... condiments, sauces, dips, dressings you use in your daily diets. They are all packed with preservatives. Preservatives contain sodium (natrium) to avoid spoils. This sodium is actually hazardous to brain blood vessels and nerves. That is why some human body immune system reacts with allergic. Nothing wrong with lactose, gluten etc. It's this sodium is the culprit.

I have had eczema since a kid and ten years ago had a very severe flare up, blotches everywhere, couldn’t retain any heat in my body, pretty distressing.
Did acupuncture to relieve symptoms and in meantime completely changed diet, exercise and managed stress better and my eczema not only settled but for practical purposes disappeared.

I did a liver flush in 2012 As described by Andreas Moritz in his book that is available on Amazon still. Had Heart burn and allergy for house dust. Also had stiff knuckles and really sore knees. Knees was so painful that it was hurting when they touched while sleeping. Had to place pillow between them. I woke up with red eyes and had lower back pain. All these things disappeared after my 2nd liverflush. 11 years on and no comebacks.done a liver flush every so often but nothing like my 2nd one.
