  • We discovered this unknown gem of a campground in NW Wisconsin just over the boarder from Minnesota. 1600 acres of fun, over 100 sites, most right on the water, the campground sits along the Minong Flowage. A great place to boat, fish and just enjoy the water.

      Hey man, great meeting you as well, hope the wife liked the sticker. We will definitely be back in the offseason or maybe sooner, so we can do a better video and enjoy it longer than one night. I still don't think I can pronounce it lol

    I grew up in Minong (Pronounced "My-Nong") and stayed at Totogatic all the time! Beautiful Park and great for the family too. In addition to the electric sites they also have a few with full sewer hookups and everything needed for "Glamping". The body of water you're on is actually part of the "Minong Flowage". There is a big island called "Sand Island" that you can visit and is a great spot for a day on the water. Cool video thanks for shedding some light on one of my favorite campgrounds!

    We always stop at the Jack Link's Beef Jerky Factory Outlet inside Henson's Country Foods in Minong. Sometimes they have big bags of end pieces at a really great price. Plus they have a nice selection of Wisconsin cheeses.

    Well now there's another park we need to camp at! Love those sites where you can launch directly onto the lake. I just sent the link to Chet to tell him where we should go. I'm not going to try to pronounce it. - beanpole

    I saw a video that showed WI is 47% woods, yet MN is only 39%. Is that accurate?

    • @Live2dayWanderland
      @Live2dayWanderland  4 месяца назад

      That doesn't seem right but I could believe it, Wisconsin only has a population of like 5 million total, the entire top half is very rural and forests. I will say though I would have thought Minnesota had more forest land, but maybe not because it seems like there are more cities there.

      @@Live2dayWanderland Ya, I went up to MN sledding about 5 yrs back. Rode at night, all I heard were coyotes or timber wolves. Was under impression anything north of the twin was pretty much deep woods. I dunno, hope to get up there to explore more. Appreciate your vid guys! Be good!
