Hi, guys I was frustrating too, but here is the trick that worked in my laptop Thinkpad t450, I pressed shift + shutdown my laptop and when I opened every key worked for going into bios, like for USB boot I pressed f12 so make sure to shutdown your laptop while pressing shift. Hope it will help and save your time

how to boot from sd card (some thinkpads have sd card slot but it doesn't allow to boot on bios)
