Thanks Mike, that was really bugging me, I've had a look but I can't see how to turn of the reversing camera, mine comes on due to the canbus decoder, do you how to do it please.
So the newer models come with a same coloired wire pre cut and bridging them together turns it off. Others you'll need to use a multimeter. Find the wire that goes 12v feed positive when you go into reverse. Then chop that wire. Should sort you out mate.
Hello, nice content! How do you turn off the door chimes when you open the driver door? The noise is unbearably loud and would be nice to be able to turn off! Any advice or feedback to solve this is greatly appreciated! Thank you
@@mechanicallymindedmike9677 Hi.. i installed a similar unit but in my case i want the opossite.. (to keep that beep) when locking/unlocking the car.. it's a 2015 USDM Toyota Corolla.. Would appreciate your advice..
@@majingaknight I think you're referring to the beep when you lock and unlock your car like a beep from the alarm system yeah? If so think you gunna need to but some software and code it. I do coding for vag group cars but not Toyota unfortunately.

Hi Mike, Do you have any idea if in "Factory Settings" is any option to display the battery voltage with decimals in "Car Information"? I saw on other players that is not a problem for CAN BUS module to read this info from ECU with one or two decimals.

@@sheetalprasad5312 when I bought my head unit on Ebay- the unit i bought came with a 'Canbus' box which plugged directly into my car (VW Passat 2010) where did you buy yours from and in what car is it in fella? Not all systems are compatible see
@@mechanicallymindedmike9677 Actually mine is Honda city ivtec cvt 2019 model and with the car system was digipad and now i git replaced with circuit i 10.1 inches music system. Is this compatible for this function.
@@sheetalprasad5312 personally I would consult the seller. When I bought my unit the sold it with a Canbus box which plugged into the cars wiring loom and then the stereo. Its what enabled the door picture thing on mine

I have a Peugeot 307 year of 2005 original car radio RT3 VAN. I bought a junsun 2G 32G B steering wheel control android car radio. its function just the volume + - button. it does not detect open doors mileage
On the 2005 307's i do believe it doesn't show which door is open b4 the stereo install. Therefore it will not show after the stereo install. Sorry mann

@@RayanM007 I'm sorry to tell you that the stereo only replicates what the car used to do. It will not show it on the android headunit unless it was on display previously. Sorry mann 😞

Is it the same head unit fella? And is your installed unit plugged into Cambus system? If not, then it will not register that your doors are open

Check your plugged into the correct video/yellow wire.
Also check the blue wire. Sometimes they come pre cut and they need to be bridged together

Yeah I do ironically. It was pissing me off too. Slap a quid vid up tmr for u m8.. bit of loom adaptation required mate 👍
if you still haven't fixed it just disconnect the reverse wire it should be labelled reversed cut it or smth
From memory there's a blue loop 8bhad to cut. I'll be pulling my unit out shortly so show u which 1 I cut

I found a download online that I installed. But it kept reverting back to km/h. So gave up.
