Thanks!! I bought the trailer on marketplace. A few mods and it was good to go. Watch the 1st video of this series. I go over how I found it. Thanks for watching!! BUILD ON!
It is 2.7mm utility plywood. Available at SOME big box stores. Call ahead. Thanks for watching and build on! It really isnt that hard, just take one thing at a time.
Did you have another video after exterior? I’m interested in learning what you did for the exterior (aluminum/fiberglass/?) how you cut holes for the door/windows and how you created the galley door. I also spied an AC unit, which was intriguing. So far, your videos have been extremely helpful and I’m planning my first build now.
Great informative videos! I am on my third build myself. The first was a teardrop and the last two are squaredrop. I use old pop up campers for the frame and all the electrical and gas systems are reused. I used aluminum to skin the last one but I am thinking of trying poor mans fiberglass this time. Have you tried it and what is your opinion of it?
Wow that wood bends really nicely, I have yet to find a used door to cut down but keeping eyes open for some for later

Great Build. What size and type of fasteners did you use for the roof skin on your teardrop. Also, what glue did you use. Thanks G
I use 3/4 crown staples and titebond 3 glue for the wood skin. The finish skin (Filon) is floated. Thanks for watching!
What is the wood material you used? You make the entire process look easy which provides me plenty of confidence to build my own

Nailing the roof with a nail gun doesn’t create leaks?
The wood is getting covered with Filon fiberglass sheeting. Thanks for watching

I have built 3 on old pop up camper frames. I have only used Filon. I haven't used PMF. Thanks for watching
