Wow this was a beautifully produced video. Informative, not too fast, entertaining, graphic. Impressed and I had no idea BIAB could do this.
Thanks so much for this. It took a little time but now I'm all set to start with vocals and guitar. I'll keep coming back to this video so that I can hone the skills I need to prepare some good backing tracks.
🙂
Great video. Not all of the newer PG videos seem as well put together and presented as this example. I don't use this feature at all in BIAB but I enjoyed watching the presentation. Thanks.
Good one . Great information for people new to recording or recording in Band-in-a-Box for Windows.
Excellent and informative, very easy to follow tutorial 👌
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks a lot for the wonderful video!
Another great video, thank you!
Thanks a lot! Very clear video.
very well delivered
Glad you liked it
Great Video thanks
Very well done!! I wonder if instead of an Audio Interface (like the Scarlet 212), could I use a Yamaha MG10XU Mixer?
Brilliant......... Many Thanks. Could do with knowing how to 'Drop in' to correct mistakes in recording ?
super helpful
This was great. I may dust off my Scarlett
My mixer has mic inputs. Why can't I audio in to record. After all the DAWs are built for microphone recording. Plus recording quality is excellent these days, even on the laptop.

Hmm could be have I missed something here does the BIAB record to a seperate track as I can’t see this discussed and how do we find where it recorded and saved to otherwise great video
At 5:16 the video shows you the Record window. In the middle of the left it says Record Audio To - this is where you can choose which track to record onto. When you save your song file, the audio recording will be saved as a wav file in the same directory.
How do you use line 6 Helix as a interface with Band n a box.
Hello and thank you for this video. I have BIAB 2020. and I just hooked it up to record for the 1st time. I'm using the Yamaha Steinberg UR22 and its Steinberg drivers for Win 8.1, my PC operating system. I followed your instructions....options menu to preferences and then audio. It's default is the MME, and when putting it on the regular ASIO drivers, Fender ASIO or the Steiberg ASIO drivers,BIAB crashes and I have to restart BIAB again....Repeat and the same thing happens.
When trying to switch to the Steinberg ASIO, I get a fast blinking " trying to repeat possiblygetfinishedwavinbuf ......then the message stops blinking and then crashes. The words without being run together are " possibly get finished wave in buf) What would you suggest ? Thanks !
This is definitely something you'll want to discuss with our team directly - reach out to them by phone, chat, or email www.pgmusic.com/contact.htm
Once you record yourself, can that track and all the BIAB style instrument tracks be dragged into your DAW and the instruments and your recorded tracks will all be separate there in your DAW?
Yes, absolutely! If you need a hand at all with this feature (or other features) in our programs, please don't hesitate to contact us directly for a conversation: www.pgmusic.com/contact.htm
I still have latency. Is there a way to move the WAV file up until it matches?
Hi - reach out to our team directly, they can help you more efficiently over the phone, email, or Live Help (chat)

How can chords show up in BIAB while singing and playing or are they?
Chords would need to be applied before playback. Learn more about entering chords at www.pgmusic.com/manuals/bbw2023full/chapter6.htm#chord-entry
Hi! I have my audio settings matching yours, but when playing back vocal I still hear sound only from one side. Is there a setting I'm not aware of? Thanks
Hi! If you've selected the [Audio Options] button in the Record Audio window, you can set the track type to Stereo or Mono. If you've done that, and are still only hearing sound from one side, please reach out to our team directly to resolve the issue: www.pgmusic.com/contact.htm
