Thanks to you! yes it is a very rare hidden gem from vintage italian synths arsenal! a real unique weapon for magic lushing sounds.. It has also a desktop module called EM22...it s the same but without keyboard... Its FM brother also is very interesting..the EK44
thank you mate! it is kinda similar to the Matrix..but beetween the Elka and the Matrix i prefer absolutely the EK22...pads sounds are amazing! yes Tauntek should be create a new firmware..it would be fantastic..but despite this it s really easy to create a patch on it..despite other analog synths with no hands on tweaking of that period...
@@Napalbe Do you have the Matrix 1000 or the 6/6R? Because I have all 3 variants and the 6/6R sounds more deeper, richer than the 1000. There is one EK22 that I could buy, but the lack of MIDI and slow parameter movement is a deal breaker at the moment.
i had the 6..yes it sounded deeper then 1000..i compare it with one of my friend...but still prefer the EK22 for its unheard sound! yes..the midi unfortunately its a little bit not optimized...similar to the crumar bit one..but for me it s not a particular problem

Just a little bit of reverb and delay on some patches...nothing else! the Elka sounds unique as you can hear..and not only these models..check also the Ek44, the Rhapsody 610, Twin, ecc...they are incredible machines..no vst around can emulate perfectly its sound behavior cheers A

It is wonderfully Analog! CEM filters...BBD chorus like juno 6...but it has a unique and different flavour...6 voices 2 DCOs check what the great Legowelt says about this synth: legowelt.org/647-2/

Curtis Chips. Similar to the Oberheim Matrix 6 and Kawai K3. I owned one in the 90s. The EK 44, too. It needs a Controller or Programmer.
