      @@jomisa999 Olympia School District rank's high and I would suggest living in Lacey, Wa. Lot's of nice newer built homes near the Hawks Prairy Golf Course.

    I grew up here in Olympia and went back to visit recently, the homeless and drug problems have gotten WAY out of hand. I took my kids to Burfoot park while we were there and came across two meth needles. Downtown was disgusting as well.

      Gotta second this. I think 10 years ago Olympia was great, but now a days I don’t even feel safe living here.

    Oly is my heart's home though I was born in Tacoma. I love Oly the best of anyplace in the US. I've been through almost every state in the US,but none are home to me.

    Living in Oympia is wonderful. Live in a nice area, nice home & next to the mall. Climate great all year round in Olympia. Last winter was a two day snow fall. Country culture. You find fault in Olympia, then you'll find fault anywhere & that will be your fault!

    How long does it take to drive to Seattle from Olympia?

    • @livelovelacey
      @livelovelacey  Год назад

      From downtown to downtown it's a little over an hour, (an hour to an hour and a half depending on traffic). And from downtown to the airport it's between 45 minutes and an hour, depending on traffic. 🙂

    • @ToniHunterOne
      @ToniHunterOne Год назад

      It's approximately 63 miles.

      in normal traffic - which is really heavy on I5, especially going past the US military base, it takes about 90 minutes. spend a couple days checking the normal commute times for an average. 60 minutes to the airport, 90 to downtown - or a 3 hour daily (very long) commute.
