We almost started together. I upload daily. I do almost everything. But I have very few visits. I know the quality of my videos is not very good and it is not like these two channels. But is the quality of my videos so bad? Do you think I should continue or give up RUclips forever? Thankful

Its lone girl or whatever that channel was back in the day but all over youtube. The business realized how much money was here and there not letting it go to waste.

I mean i have seen videos where the exact 3 keywords are used in the tags and titles and descriptions, but they are not all equally ranked as that would be impossible.
It depends on many factors, not only keywords. We can only guess how RUclips algorithm ranks videos and keywords are only a tiny bit of that algorithm. -Helen

Do you folks bother to edit/add your own captions? At what point do we just trust RUclips to get it right? I currently edit/add my own captions, but it can be time consuming.
We edit our CC but it's time consuming, right. But we don't just edit the auto-generated CC on RUclips - we upload the video script in .txt format, let RUclips auto-generate timings for it and then polish this file in Studio. -Helen
Great info! I really need some help with my RUclips channel. I have a tech channel and I have just started posting again on my channel after 6 years, similar content as before. I still have about 30 000 subscribers. To my surprise I average around 50 views per video from my subscribers which means only about 0.1% are watching my videos. Iv read that you should average around 10% to 30%. I guess I’m wondering has my channels ranking/algorithm been downgraded because of the 6 years of inactivity so most my videos are not showing up on most of my subscribers lists. It's hard to say without looking closely at their performance. The thing might be in promotion they do for their videos or something else.
