  • The very first Dragon Age Comic was released in 2010 within months of Dragon Age Origins. It only ran for six issues, it was written by Orson Scott Card, and plays a bit loose with the lore. All in all, it enjoys a bit of an infamous reputation with fans, but is it really that bad?

I get the feeling the comic was likely prepped and planned during Origin's pre-production phase. A lot of this lore seems like maybe what they had as a rough draft for the setting. I could be wrong though.

The art not matching the text seems to be a thing with Dragon Age 😂

6:25-a lot of people said that Abernath was creepy in this part by telling Venessa that she could “learn to love him”. All I know is that if Venessa didn’t run away, Abernath would have been a perfect gentleman, unlike her deadbeat ex boyfriend Sadatt.
