I think they have a deep affection and ‘platonic’ love for each other, that they’re just really good friends. There’s no romantic connection between them, it shows that Mos especially is not sexually attracted to Bank, that he adores him but only as a friend.
That’s why I wish they wouldn’t do all the fan service and pretend they’re romantically involved when it’s so obviously not real. They just need to be themselves, that it’s OK to show they just have a close friendship and stop all the fake couple nonsense.
