What a fun video!loved the Father Christmas on the boat! The onions sound good. Do have a recipe? We usually heat with wood, this is our second winter with a mini split heat pump. May be getting cold enough to crank up the wood stove soon. I love the fire!
I think wood gives off a lovely heat. It feels different to central heating, don't you think? With the pickle onions,I simply put pickling spices and malt vinegar on the onions. It's as simple as that 😊
They never used to do much about lights when we lived in the UK ,It looks like it’s taken off in a big way ,It looked lovely . When we lived in Essex our village did a little Christmas Fayre . I would love to make pickled onions but the shallots cost more than buying a jar from the English shop here in Florida ,Also can only find small bottles of malt vinegar ,it’s not worth me making them .

I think we have lots of lights in North Norfolk because it's so touristy - even in winter. The tourist villages always put on a good show 😊
