Hey everyone! Hope you enjoy this guide to Christmas things to do in London. I list out more specifics and recommendations in the written version of this guide, so be sure to check it out here: happytowander.com/christmas-things-to-do-in-london/
Just got back from touring the London Christmas lights and markets...I did most of your places on this video in one night- im a flight attendant and thats all i had. I loved the decorations on new Bond street..just beautiful, thank you
@@HappytoWander even though the financial state of the country is in horrible conditions they still waste electricity on all these lights... Good looking at least
London not England,England barely puts lights up on their houses so you can only really feel the Christmas spirit in London. I've been there and outside of London there are not a lot of lights up.
The lighting the decorations and generally it is a beautiful place to visit around Christmas time with so much to do. I heard winter wonderland is worth a visit in London also.
Aw! I actually think the Christmas markets are wayyyy nicer in Austria, but I agree nobody does Christmas glitz and glamour like London when it comes to decorations and lights 🤩
I made the mistake of going to Hamley’s on Regent Street on a Saturday afternoon in December to look for some gifts for my son. It was absolutely crazy. My then four year old son appreciated the gifts though, asking me when I was going back to London.
@@racing4fun384 Last year it was COLD. High in the low 30's F lows in the 20's. We were there Dec 11th and it snowed one night, it was a sight to see for sure. It's in our London video if interested. The Christmas vibe is AMAZING!!!!
Thank you for sharing your wonderful and complete video, so many tips on Christmas spots to visit. I can't wait to get to London next december 🎉 Just one thing, could speak slower in your different videos ? 😊
Thank you so much!!! I’m not sure I do anything special, but I film in 4K 50fps with my Sony a7IV. I also have some great lenses (24-70mm f2.8 G-Master & a nifty 50) which help!
Mostly Christmas City it's New York and most popular Christmas songs in the World 🎵 from USA. Sorry 🤣 We are absolutely Love England 🇬🇧 and Welcome to Manhattan for Christmas Time!
You’ll probably see some. The lighting displays tend to stick around until about Epiphany (Jan. 6). If you want to see those it should probably be one of the first things you do. Only a few markets have confirmed their dates for 2023-24, so we can only really say what’s happened in the past. Most close by Jan. 1, but a couple should still be there when you arrive. Last year Leicester Square and Southbank stayed open through the first week of January.
