    what a mess one of those breaker panels was, a nest of wires, spliced together. I would think a meter panel would have been installed in the 1st place with disconnects for the 3 service panels. Not having 3 service drops and a mass of wires coming off the pole. I am surprised how the original job passed inspection. Ought to have been "red tagged' not passed, power co. refuse to connect until brought up to code.

      Out with the old and in with the new! There was so much more not shown that we cleaned up.

    We will be adding a future H/P at some point so that will require another meter. The other 2 are just blanks.

      Yes, enjoy seeing your work. Glad you take pride in your work. Here in Canada you don't see many electrical panels outside.

    Yeah it is some what low. The utility co approved the height.

    I'm amazed all that is outside! All out mains meters and boards would be inside here.

    I thought it looked low to me as well but with the green tag who cares. how was the integrity of the brick wall? that's alot of weight.

    • @electricalindustry
      @electricalindustry  8 лет назад

      The new block wall was completely grouted and carried most the weight.

    Are those couplings rain tight? Usually they are anodized blue gold or black. Regular stainless couplings are no longer allowed in wet locations. Just wondering.

      Yes there are RT fittings,the blue faded away but they are stamped RT.Funny thing,after all that work the inspector nailed me for using a tek screw on the gutters ground bar instead of a machine screw.
