In case of a KP3, besides seeing the comeback of playable versions of MK's established women, I wonder if it's long overdue for Rza, Gza, Ghostface Killah, U God, and/or Meth to make the guest roster?

I think Ghostface will be awesome and I love the scream movies plus I main ghostface in dead by daylight so for me he will be one I will love to play I think for his voice lines at least
Technically we getting 3 dlc which are the guests characters if you buy season 2 sektor and cyrax and noob are automatic in the dlc on release of season 2. So technically it will take 3 months plus for each new guests characters.

I like Scary Movie, Scream and Terminator 2 but I'm honestly sick of these Mortal Kombat guests characters, there is way too many per game now. I liked Kratos cause he was from an actual video game but once they started putting all the action movie and horror movie characters in the game and Joker for some reason it became stupid. I'm glad Sektor is back but I didn't want him gender swapped, I thought Sektor and Cyrax in MK9 were so cool in their human forms now I gotta get used to totally different versions of them which I don't like.
I find the choices of characters weird I wonder why Cyrax and Sektor was changed so much they could’ve just named them new characters It’s odd they picked those 3 guest characters The Kombat packs usually have a theme MKX had horror with Alien, Leatherface, Jason and Predator MK 11 has a 90’s movie theme Terminator, Rambo, Spawn and Robocop they also had Joker I thought MK1 was going with the anti heroes with Homelander, Omni-Man and Peacemaker but the second one broke the theme Maybe I’m thinking about it too much

Considering this game is gonna last for like another 3 years and it looks like they gonna do separate packs for characters n kameos now there’s plenty of time to add the fan favorite characters cuz all they really got left to add is Jax, Sonya, Kano, kabal, kortal, jade, Cassie, ig jaqui, scarlet, onaga as far as the big name hype characters from the franchise are concerned and I wouldn’t be surprised if the male versions of sektor n cyrax become skins plus with all the changes takeda’s patch brought the combos in this game are absolutely ridiculous now

A leaker who leaked the whole game before the release confirmed that Sektor was someone else (to hide that they knew Sektor was a woman now) when people saw the ending for Bi-Han. KP2 and 3 was leaked before the game came out, on top of KP1, so everything was planned before people even started complaining (though the strike and KP3 is likely unfinished, means that there may be more characters added to KP3.) Another thing, is that in an interview, Ed Boon said that there’s a secret in the DLC and compared it to Reptile in MK.
What they are doing to Sektor and Cyrax is what most modern media is doing to most of their IP's ie DC, Marvel, they have female characters that could be developed and cool and they don't use them in favor of gender swapping a well know character

Okay, so for any of the diehard MK fans that just absolutely refuse to see reason, I'll just establish the obvious and show you the LIST of things they got wrong with this pass: -6 Characters, only 1 is truly an established MK Character -Female Sektor and Cyrax don't count... Like, at all. They aren't Sektor and Cyrax, aren't even fully cyborg but more so WAMEN wearing exosuits, they play differently and the fact that we HAVE two existing modern Sektor and Cyrax Kameos AKA "skins" makes this infinitely more insulting -People aren't really excited to see Arnie since this is his second bout and the Terminator itself was also made redundant by the Terminator in MK11 -This pass is adding more onto the story of MK1 which is already dead after they utterly botched everything in the final third of the game -This sh** is 50$. Even if this pass was excellent, which it is not, this price would automatically kill any and all reason to purchase it on principle alone. You cannot justify paying for a whole *** game on a DLC character bundle. -... One which you cannot even buy the characters separately. This pass is indicative of everything wrong with this franchise right now. Bad predatory pricing, woke crap which people have grown sick and tired of, lack of real content, redundant features, lack of consumer friendly options in case someone just wanted Conan or Noob Saibot, and then a TINY concession in the form of Noob Saibot who feels like he is APOLOGIZING for the garbage surrounding him. Oh, wait, no, because why has it become normal to market legacy characters who should have been in the base game in the first place? Edit 1: Completely forgot Ghost Face was in this. Glad I'm not the only one that thinks of Terrordrome when hearing about Ghostface in a fighting game though. Edit 2: Don't care who hates the word "woke". "Woke" was originally the way the people making these decisions described, themselves, these types of changes. It only became a bad thing when the people who didn't like the changes started using their own word. This is just "Anti-SJW's" all over again, I mean christ LOOK at what happened to the Olympics this year. Does that look normal to you? Of course not, end of discussion. I do not care if people "hate" the word "woke" because, frankly, people like myself hated that word long before you did.
While I like cameos, I see three problems with guest characters. The first one comes from the excess of guests, especially when it comes to Mortal Kombat, because it's Warner, it's much easier to bring a character from a movie franchise or TV series, which is cool but the number of times they They do this and turn what should be special into something ordinary. In addition to giving the impression that they do not value their own legacy, there are dozens of characters that fans would like to see again and never had the chance, except in Easter eggs, and the probability that they will continue without seeing is high due to the space taken up by guest characters. The second problem is the imbalance that some characters bring because they come with main characteristics from their original franchises (Tekken players know what I mean) of course it is important to bring what makes these characters them, but sometimes developers have problems to balance the game. Seeing Homelander for example seems wrong to me, it's like he doesn't belong in the game and his main characteristics only seem to get in the way of the rest of the roster, remember that this is the same team that made Injustice so it's very likely that a lot of him was taken away from Superman or Supergirl. The third and most common is that whenever a guest character appears, the developers insist on it being OP. Of course there are weeks of adaptation but some characters don't leave the top tier at all (hi again Akuma and Geese from Tekken). So yes, guest characters are cool but when done in excess, when choices aren't made well, and when developers don't adapt the guest to the game, it becomes a problem for fans of that franchise.
Personally I do hate this! I hate gender swapped Cyborgs and in all honesty I am not a fan of this roster in general even though it includes Ermac(my fav)

MK1 on a whole is just boring. It will sell well but I play games for fun not to line the pockets of multi-billion dollar companies for no reason

-6 Characters, only 1 is truly an established MK Character
-Female Sektor and Cyrax don't count... Like, at all. They aren't Sektor and Cyrax, aren't even fully cyborg but more so WAMEN wearing exosuits, they play differently and the fact that we HAVE two existing modern Sektor and Cyrax Kameos AKA "skins" makes this infinitely more insulting
-People aren't really excited to see Arnie since this is his second bout and the Terminator itself was also made redundant by the Terminator in MK11
-This pass is adding more onto the story of MK1 which is already dead after they utterly botched everything in the final third of the game
-This sh** is 50$. Even if this pass was excellent, which it is not, this price would automatically kill any and all reason to purchase it on principle alone. You cannot justify paying for a whole *** game on a DLC character bundle.
-... One which you cannot even buy the characters separately.
This pass is indicative of everything wrong with this franchise right now. Bad predatory pricing, woke crap which people have grown sick and tired of, lack of real content, redundant features, lack of consumer friendly options in case someone just wanted Conan or Noob Saibot, and then a TINY concession in the form of Noob Saibot who feels like he is APOLOGIZING for the garbage surrounding him. Oh, wait, no, because why has it become normal to market legacy characters who should have been in the base game in the first place?
Edit 1: Completely forgot Ghost Face was in this. Glad I'm not the only one that thinks of Terrordrome when hearing about Ghostface in a fighting game though.
Edit 2: Don't care who hates the word "woke". "Woke" was originally the way the people making these decisions described, themselves, these types of changes. It only became a bad thing when the people who didn't like the changes started using their own word. This is just "Anti-SJW's" all over again, I mean christ LOOK at what happened to the Olympics this year. Does that look normal to you? Of course not, end of discussion. I do not care if people "hate" the word "woke" because, frankly, people like myself hated that word long before you did.
While I like cameos, I see three problems with guest characters.
The first one comes from the excess of guests, especially when it comes to Mortal Kombat, because it's Warner, it's much easier to bring a character from a movie franchise or TV series, which is cool but the number of times they They do this and turn what should be special into something ordinary. In addition to giving the impression that they do not value their own legacy, there are dozens of characters that fans would like to see again and never had the chance, except in Easter eggs, and the probability that they will continue without seeing is high due to the space taken up by guest characters.
The second problem is the imbalance that some characters bring because they come with main characteristics from their original franchises (Tekken players know what I mean) of course it is important to bring what makes these characters them, but sometimes developers have problems to balance the game. Seeing Homelander for example seems wrong to me, it's like he doesn't belong in the game and his main characteristics only seem to get in the way of the rest of the roster, remember that this is the same team that made Injustice so it's very likely that a lot of him was taken away from Superman or Supergirl.
The third and most common is that whenever a guest character appears, the developers insist on it being OP. Of course there are weeks of adaptation but some characters don't leave the top tier at all (hi again Akuma and Geese from Tekken).
So yes, guest characters are cool but when done in excess, when choices aren't made well, and when developers don't adapt the guest to the game, it becomes a problem for fans of that franchise.

Personally I do hate this! I hate gender swapped Cyborgs and in all honesty I am not a fan of this roster in general even though it includes Ermac(my fav)
