John, I'm almost finished watching this intro video and my husband has noticed I've said "Wow"so much that he asked "what are you watching?". I mentioned a long time ago that he recognizes your voice (but won't remember your name), so when I told him it was an instructional video on the Doodler I just purchased, he said "that guy must be onto something...". That's an understatement.
This is going to hopefully make your business expand exponentially. I have learned so much from you over the years; so much so that you have earned my trust (which isn't easy).
People will be kicking themselves if they don't take advantage of the special pricing of $299.95. This is EASILY worth $499.95. because of all the programming involved in creating the software features. I can't wait to finish the videos and get started.

I bought it just now. Haven't tried it as yet on my XP-Pen tablet but sounds awesome. John has the gift o the gab - there is nobody better at explaining clearly and lucidly. I love dawing and hope this will help to liberate my designs to be fine-tuned in a normal embroidery program later. That is what I hope. Chapeau also to the pogrammers!

Thank you for creating the Design Doodler. I received the program for Christmas and I love it. My desktop computer recently crashed and I lost my PE Design software. I'm purchasing a commercial machine and am so excited that this Software will save both .pes AND .dst. I'll never go back to PE DESIGN, especially at the going price of $1600. After I learn the Design Doodler I plan to upgrade to Hatch or Wilcom. Anyways, I wish I had purchased the Design Doodler when it first came out. Thanks again.

Hi John, It looks a great program, but still prefer to digitise my own to learn all the tools.Digitising programmers are not cheap.
This is only for people who have never Digitised . Thank you for showing it.

Wow I’m SO excited for this!!! I recently got into embroidery a month ago and taught myself how to digitize with great success, but I love drawing with a pen instead of a mouse. I was just about to buy myself a drawing tablet so I could make designs to digitize later, but this just combines those 2 things exactly!!! Now I don’t need to go back and forth between software! I’m really looking forward to more videos on this. This is an amazing software concept and you’re such a great teacher! 😊

I bought the Design Doodler a couple of days ago and there’s just one thing I BEGGGGG you to do is get your programmers to create a patch that will allow for the IPad version to show the tool labels…the labels of each button/tool!!! Ok we will learn the tools surrounding the frame edge eventually whilst using the Windows version but it’s veryyyyy hard to just imagine what all of the variables on the WIDGET pertaining to stitch type….length…width etc are with NO labels!! This is imperative…not a nice to have feature. I paid nearly $500 Australian dollars after currency conversion for the introductory price of US $299. I notice these comments have not been responded to on the RUclips videos since launch…please pleaseeeeee make this happen as soon as possible, I’m so excited to use it but genuinely need and expect this feature to be on the IPad version already. Thank you in advance… Lindy H. (Sth Australia)

I will put in a request to the developers, I know the iPad reacts differently than a PC Pen Monitor. Meaning if you are using a Magic Pen it becomes active when you tap or draw on the screen, it is not active when you are floating over tools. In the same way, if you do have a Magic Keyboard and use the mouse pad on the key board and hover over the tool it does give you the names as with the PC version. This might be more about the hardware Apple provides than the programing of the app. I will ask non the less :)

excited to try this out. would like to suggest you highlight what icons you're interacting with - it's really hard to see and the pointer with the yellow circle isn't moving. ie. at 45:07 you say "i'm gonna come over here" but we can't see where you're going and the pointer icon is on the RHS.

Question: do I have to install the desktop version of Doodler on my Windows laptop (which I hate working on) and then import my iPad Doodler digitizing projects into it to be able to get it into my machine? Also my Bernina digitizing software does not accept JDS files. Does this mean I have to get those projects into Doodler for windows laptop first, then change it into another file type and then import it into my Bernina software?

With the iPad app available, a Windows-only desktop version is just idiocy.
