Thank you I think I might finally be catching on. A big problem I had when I started was not realizing I needed to go back to the center of the widget once I had picked my choices! This video is so thorough and detailed but also easy to follow along.
I have never wanted an embroidery machine as have never liked the standard designs you buy, but now you can digitise your own designs on an I pad I may change my mind. I am used to using Procreate and affinity designer on iPad and this seems very similar to use but of course designed for embroidery machines. Great video and very clear thank you. ❤
Maureen! That's awesome that you use your iPad for art, sounds like the Doodler is a great addition to your toolbox 😊 Have you had a chance to Doodle art you've made on Procreate?
Thanks for the video. I wish there was a way to resize the panels (i.e., properties, sequence view) because sometimes I like to keep them open when working.
How do I add or delete nodes? Ive tried double-tapping the node to delete it, no luck. The X button on the left is also not available while I have a node selected.
Thank you providing step by step tutorial. My only issues are RUclips Content Creators reviewing or demonstrating Design Doodle are using an existing drawing rather than demonstrating a new drawing by hand within the software. Can I draw with this software or must I trance from pre-existing drawings, photos, etc…. Also, for appliqué, can I export or save the file as a FCM format for the Brother Scan N Cut machine? I appreciate if you can answer me back. Thank you.
Judi, who’s a very talented artist draws from scratch in her third lesson using the tools within the widget. I’m more in the tracing category myself :) The Design Doodler outputs embroidery and long arm quilting formats. It does not output formats for cutters.
I just purchased the design doodler. Where do I find the flower file so I can follow along with this tutorial? Now I see you can get to the materials on the lessons at Digitizing Made Easy instead of directly on RUclips.

Thank you I was struggling on some of the steps with the previous version since I couldn’t see what you where doing.
This is much easier to learn from

How do you save your file out? As a DST? can you directly save it as a VP3?

What about sitting the hoop size ? Or just determine the measurements?

Thank you
It would be wonderful if right click would allow u to drag.
Good.nice
Why do you work in inches if the default setting is metric? Could the whole design not be done in metric?
Will it ever have a discount or promotion for the app it’s so expensive
