I have the same issue and it is typically my small ones along my perimeter. My locitian told me to put a clear rubber band on them before I wash to keep them in place. I am also 9 months in and still braid and band because she told me that it also helps keeping the shape uniform.
YES!!! Make the video girrrrrrrrllllllaaaaaaahhhhh!!!! Im getting sisterlocks in October...and although my texture is different....I looooove your videos and they get me so excited. Yours are GORGEOUS 😍
I keep my edge locs braided (cornrows with a middle part of like a crown braid) to combat slippage especially because I workout and sweat a lot. And braiding and banding will help combat edge slippage.
Please do a compilation video. I still braid and band but more like big twist and band now. When I'm done washing them i put them into tighter braids or cornrows to cut down the frizz,, give some shape and make sure my locs don't swell in the wrong place. I'm 9 months locked.
I had my sisterlocks installed in May and I have the same issue with my edges. I’m going to ask my loctician if she can braid lock them or add lock extensions. I’m not sure if this will work though.
The fullness and length 😍😍 your hair is the perfect length. It’s so chic.
And yes! Please do the compilation!
Thank you so much! And I’m literally working on it right now!” 💃🏾
please do a compilation video! I would love to see what your loose natural hair to loc journey was like!

I’m not too picky about the uniform shape I don’t mind my hair being a bit wild. Makes it unique to me

Hello You may need to braid and band those edges. I try to braid them tighter or in smaller sections.
That’s what I started doing and spacing out my wash days. So far so good lol

Yes I’ve started braiding mine until my reties because they still keep coming loose. So I have tiny locks and then two chunky braids on the edges lol
