Tyson immediately goes to a really dark place every time he thinks about the past.
i noticed one thing. mike seems like he overcame his past as being the most vicious human being, but if you watch him long enough you start to understand that he didn’t change. he did hide this “bad” side deep inside, but he never changed. as soon as he comes around his past, as soon as he talks about his past, he enters this called “beast mode”. i know he’s never gonna change… no one never changes. i’m like him. i was a bad person, i matured, now i have a family, a beautiful wife and 2 sons, now i gotta act like a grown mature man. but once i start thinking about situations where i acted like a “villain”, i think “i would still do it now”. it never changes, no one changes. that’s why i know that mike didn’t regret anything he did in the ring.
Thats your opinion. But ig it doesn't matter in the end who you are inside as long as you know what you are and if you are in the right and wrong, and if you are in the wrong, what you are doing to fight the wrong regardless of who you really are.

He wasn’t throwing punches at them he was throwing punches through them
“Punching with bad intentions” was the motto… that’s a terrifying man lol
Literally what Cus taught him to do after closing the gap with the peek-a-boo technique.
This is exactly what my Karate instructor told me was the effective technique for dealing with an assailant. Can I not assume that every student of Karate is advised to punch this way? Also, _throwing_ is operative word here. Your fist is not use to "punch" someone, rather, your take your fist and _throw_ it into and through them. Making contact with the assailant is not the time to stop. Your fist needs to keep going. That's what I remember anyway, from Karate lessons 50 years ago.
That's literally how you throw a punch, you punch through whatever you're punching. Like when you see those Martial Artist punching through layers of wood or cement tiles... if they stopped their punch at the first layer, the power would never reach the bottom layer
That's called proper technique.

That man is different than the rest of us. It's so amazing to watch him speak about it now. He's years removed from it all and he still gets emotional when he takes himself back there. He absolutely has a switch that flips. It's so cool to see different people get to interview him. I can't wait to see him take out that Paul brother.
He is not years removed from it. He is tapped back in.
Mike's fighting style and the way he throws punches and fights is the most beautiful thing ever
His punches were absolutely perfect.
True statement....This was also said by other heavyweights too
The only guy who could beat Mike Tyson was... Mike Tyson. He started losing when he started believing his own hype and stopped his constant motion in the ring, thinking all he had to do was march forward and get the knockout punch- instead, he just left himself open.
@@stanb.5261 Well,
That would be taking away from evander holyfield and I'm not willing to do that. I think evander was the better boxer at that time...
But if they met at the time where you're talking about where Mike wasn't full of himself and knew he still had to work, I think Mike would have beat him..
I think Mike's the greatest of all time and in his prime I don't think anybody in the world or in the history of boxing could have beat him.
He would have put Muhammad Ali on skates and honestly the most competitive fight that I can think of is George Foreman versus Mike Tyson..
Even in that fight I think Mike would add him out but with George's power you never know.
Now I know that Ali beat George but at the time I'm not sure George was his best.
@@IamThePapi George was in his prime at the time- he just got out schooled... When Ali was in his prime, no one could touch him, later he continued to win by cleverly absorbing the punishment, but it eventually cost him- Big Time!

What an era for boxing. Tyson and Hagler were the premier fighters of the 80's/90's.
The killer and the brawler.
I agree, best era ever. I grew up down the street from rocky Marciano park in Brockton. Where I met Marvin hagler in 1986 as a 10 yo. Where he was giving personalized autographs to pple for his upcoming fight with sugar ray. (Still upset). I still have that autograph.
@@_B.SHULMAN777_ I used to see Hagler at Westgate Mall in the early 80's. Always knew he was there when his Cadillac was parked at the maintenance garage. One Xmas in 1982(?) he was in Bradlees with a wad of cash buying up toys and Atari games, wearing a fur coat!! Brocktons answer to Rocky Balboa.

Evander Holyfield ear biting etc. I don’t think Jake Paul really knows what he’s up against.
mike doesn’t know what he’s up against. jake paul is HIM

Little advice for people that wanna get onto world class sports like boxing: if u dont get into the ring with killer intent, dont go in the ring. If ur opponent is standing ur job is to inflict as much damage with ur fists, plain n simple, if u dont have this sort of mindset before a fight u wont give it ur all, the post fight interviews etc r when u both can respect eachother.
