YYEESSSSS I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS NOTATION FOR APPROXIMATELY 1 BILLION YEARS NOW !! I subscribed so fast I almost broke my phone 🤣 Thank you !!! 16th note triplet grooves have been taunting me man and now I see there is even a video on fills with this? I’d kiss you on the mouth 🤣
Love these lessons Carlos. Practical applications of rudiments are so needed and the notation provided is very helpful. And your playing, always a delight to see!
Those grooves were like a lullaby, gently rocking back and forth. Beautiful, man, just beautiful... Great tutorial, another one to add to the list of Things I Must Learn How To Do.
@@jeshdcruz Really appreciate it. Makes my day for sure. If you can share my channel with your drumming buds that would be awesome. Have an amazing day!
Hi, I am new here to your channel, really like what you shared Today I found an issue when I practiced in sequence according to the clips, the last bass drum in section H should be as below: L R L R L L (at the second left hand) K I think that's what you show us!
Nice groove and tutorial ! :) But I think you wrote the last kick on the last groove at the wrong place, it should be on the third triplet of the fourth beat
Thanks Carlito! You answered a question I've had for years. While in duple meter it's played as sextuplets. I could play it but didn't understand it. Now I do. Have you done a video while playing it in triplet meter? I'll search and see if I can find it. Keep up the good work brother!
Unfortunately haven’t down a video on that yet, BUT Here’s a new lesson! Getting Creative with Stick Control (Episode 1) ruclips.net/video/9tTtquacKdw/видео.html
Great lesson man. I play double paradiddles everyday but stuff like this never occurs to me. What’s the name of this particular track from the Epidemic site?
Hey brother it's called, "We Had Ramen". Just an FYI most of the time I try to name the track in the beginning of the application. Hope all is well my man!
@@JuanCarlitoMendoza I’m good man. Just trying to keep up with you! Upon second watch, I realized I missed the title in the upper right hand corner. My bad I’m getting old. 😂

Hihat groove------ I start with my right hand to make is comfortable to strike the snare with my right hand... w/o having to 'cross-over' which, is cumbersome. Keep it clean and simple. Like leading with the right hand going around the drums. Right-handed drummers generally, do these things. Otherwise---- too much work and cumbersome. Ringo Starr played was left-handed yet, played right-handed but, led with his left hand much of the time. I, personally---- eat and write left-handed..... do everything else like a right-handed person. Just saying. Great video!

Interesting lesson. Its good to hear it at a lower bpm to get the hang of it. When played at the higher bpm with music it sounded like a shuffle.
