- The final video of a trilogy from a birding trip to Bhutan from 17th April to 5th May 2018. The route covered is from Nganglam in the south back to Paro and included a few days along the famous Limithang Road as well as Thrumsengla, the Bumthang Valley, Trongsa, and the pass at Pele La.
This really is what I wish for in a birding video, combining bits of the trio with well narrated video showing and naming the birds. Love this, thank you 🙏
Wonderful. Straightforward, with no background music (only nature sounds), and simple commentary. Liked it much.
How fortunate and thankful we are! What a jewel of a video! Well done!
Amazing detailing and commentary!
What a wonderful three set video of your trip. I applaud the way you just filmed, and simply informed us what the bird was with maybe a brief anecdote. We also got to see a lot of Bhutan. Thank you for this first class set of videos.

Beatiful chanel Greg. Tnank you for sharing. Greetings from Argentina.
Hi Greg, at 1:35 I believe you have mis-identified this woodpecker. You called it a Bay Woodpecker, however it is a Rufous Woodpecker. The black bill is diagnostic, and separates it from Bay which has a yellowish bill. The plumage is also more suited to Rufous rather than Bay Woodpecker.
Hi Luke. I've had a closer look at the original footage and believe you are correct. The bill looks pale but does not have a yellowish tinge. The ear coverts are darker than expected on a female Rufous so I studied some unused footage of the same individual and detected a hint of red just below the eye so think this is actually a juvenile male Rufous Woodpecker. Thanks for pointing out the identification error.
@@GregBaker57 Thank you. I have very much enjoyed watching your videos on your travels and birding around the world.
Fantastic footage 👍
Great video
Such a beautiful sound of nature
here is one of my more hilarious transliterations when I look up yer birds - "satir trakerpan [!?!]" - but with "bhutanese bird" added, got it in one :)
Nice video!
Enchanting and Awesome 💖
Great stuff! How many species seen on the trip, I wonder?
373!
@@GregBaker57 Wow! That‘s amazing
Amazing Video
Super clean footage. Thank you for that quality vide. May I know which camera was used?
Most of the bird footage was taken with a Panasonic GH5 with a Lumix 100-400mm lens. I usually shoot in 4k which provides flexibility when publishing in HD format.
Most of these 🐦 species can be seen here in Kenya , I like this vidio
Amazing.. Bhutan series👌

my motherland country.
Wow! This is a masterpiece in its own way.. Could you tell us what equipment you used for the shooting?
Hi Rahul, the footage of birds was taken using a Panasonic GH5 camera with a Lumix 100-400mm lens. The general and landscape footage was taken with a Panasonic GH4 with a 14-40mm lens.
Great work

🐦🐦🐦🐦👍👍👍👍👍💙🧡💚
So many bizarre and interesting birds
To think this awesome sophistication & variety of behavior & form is by a chain of mere evolutionary accidents is to do what the bible says essentially in Romans chapter 1: rejecting the believable in order to believe the unbelievable 🤪 How can this extraordinary designing be anything but the work of a magnificent Creator God? !
स्वर्ग लोक के पक्षी
ilike thes vedio
Nice 🌹🌲💐🌲🌹💐🌲🌹💐🌲🌹💐🌲🌹💐🌲🌹💐🌲🌹
Bhutan is paradise for all living beings. . Killing a bird, fishing, cutting green trees etc... are crime in Bhutan...
1.35 Rufous woodpecker
Hi. Yes as per previous comment it is a Rufous Woodpecker however changing it now would require a new video to be uploaded.
