I came to find this video again just so I could watch Nick's hands.
Incredible. I’m gonna a throw my bass in a dumpster now.

I hear a Voivod influence.
Fuck yeah!
Their music is sick!
I never even thought about it but you're totally right, and I love them even more
nice
Does anyone know what kind of guitar Colin Marston is playing?
+rfgwerth qergqh Pretty sure its a custom made by a guy in Quebec. Can't remember his name for the life of me, but Luc and Kevin both have similar looking guits.
+rj grandel Hmm then maybe it's Marc Chicoine cause I know Luc made his custom with him
+MarkTheGuitaristDude Thanks! Trey from morbid angel also plays one of there I believe
The guitars have gotten far more interesting with this new material - a bit of that Gorguts influence creeping in - but those vocals really have to go.
+Inline Downhill Vancouver I like Mick's vocals, they're more hardcore than black metal, but they sound so anguished and frantic. I think they mix well with Nick's death roars.
Kelly Moon There is certainly nothing black metal about them. They sound like an indie pop vocalist trying to do hardcore. I just don't find anything of value in them.
If Krallice brought more ideas to completion and made the band instrumental, I'd enjoy this band.
+Inline Downhill Vancouver What do you mean by "brought more ideas to completion"? I'm curious as to what you mean there.
Kelly Moon I'm not educated on music writing to any practical to degree to elaborate too much, but a lot of the writing is meandering while not brought to resolution that often. I listen to free jazz and a lot of avant garde and experimental music, metal and otherwise, so I'm no purist in this case either, but some (a lot?) of the writing is unsatisfying in this regard.
+Inline Downhill Vancouver I think that's their draw; the music is constantly shifting and building tension without releasing it in your typical headbanging ways. They don't resolve their riffs in harmonically pleasing ways, but that's exciting to me. Give them a bit more of a listen, because they really have some stunning songs. My favorite is "The Clearing" off of Diotima (their best record in my opinion). I would say this album is their most dense, and least black metal offering, and, as you said, a bit more Gorguts influenced. I'm still digesting it but it certainly seems technically impressive at the very least.
