I think when PRS became popular with Nu-Metal it made aggressive guitarists like guitars that really look like WOOD. Such a classy looking instrument, I really like the fact that you get so many players now who have jumped on the Nuno Bettencourt bandwagon and want a classy looking instrument. Hopefully the days of plastic looking Dean and ESP graphics as a majority are a thing of the past.

thanks man. I prefer multiscale personally, I love kiesel build qaulity. But the end of day its personal preference. I love the vader but I'm still more of a headstock guy

Hey man love the Vader, how are you liking it? How would you describe the neck? How's the build quality compared to something as crazy as a Skervesen? Thanks man
Yeah the vader is great! Super light and comfy, great for playing on couch haha. The neck is more of a classic d shape. Not as thin as my skervesen or ibanez. The vader is cnc cut so everyline on the guitar is perfect. Were as the skerv is hand cut. Every detail on the vader is flawless 9.5/10. The skerv has a few imperfections but only cosmetic. Not a big deal for most people.
does the tab book have tempos for the songs in it? do you know what the tempo for this is?

+xnuralratiugx hey mate, if you go on the kiesel site you can enter most of the spec and get a price, fire finish is about 300USD extra and treated board 200USD. but for me i had exchange rate and import tax changes the prices dramatically.

Is the 7th string really necessary for this song? Probably makes it easier, for sure, but it seems doable on a 6 string tuned down.

+Todd Pownall its extremely light up top. sits very well, effortless to hold, some guitars i have are top heavy and i find i'm actually taking the weight while playing. but the Vader balances perfectly!

It's hybrid picking, throwing in some fingerpicked notes to save a big string skip.
Pretty common in metal. Chappers does it a lot, so does Myles Kennedy.

I don't mean this to be bad or anything, but personally I think the riffing in this song is fantastic. Singing is okay but I'm not a fan of it.
Too Many Guitars That's basically Psycroptic in a nutshell for their last few albums. They basically have a hardcore vocalist, they also have no solos. Their riffs are heavy and pretty awesome usually but everything else is weak, imo.
Their last 3 albums are by far their best imo. The early albums are good from a composition and musical standpoint, but I just don't dig the vocals as much even though it's still Jason (afaik). There are a few solos here and there, and they're on point. However, with as proficient a guitarist as Haley, you don't need solos for a song to be good.

Alota pain.. hahah. I used a drive pedal before the amp, remove a bit of highs and tighten up the low end before it hits the amp
