We do not have the same 55+ communities like Phoenix with its "Sun City" retirement community. We do have gated communities all around El Paso though.

Looks like to me you RE agents should be hitting Denver, Minneapolis , Detroit, Chicago,and other northern cities for retirees, and others , a great alternative to Phoenix, Tuscon -Calif looks like El Paso is compared to these places. Just a thought
