And, I can see this causing more stress for many who start to obsess about it and worry that they're heading to dementia which is counter productive, because chronic stress is the key factor in the triggering of dementia. If you have a concern that you're memory is going, ask someone who you spend a lot of time with to maintain some awareness with you, and check in with each other regularly, but don't make a big deal about it. The best thing to do is to take proper action: exercise, get into nature, eat less fat if your diet is high in fat. Drink more clean water. Challenge your brain and try new activities, learn something new, take dance lessons - all stimulate dormant brain neurons to activate. Doing the same thing every day, being in the same environment every day, the same daily routine kills brain cells. Reduce your exposure to toxins and chemicals in your home, especially aluminum foil, never use it in the oven with your food. Eat more fruit and vegetables that are free from chemicals and pesticides. As this guy rightly noted in the beginning.. the issue with brain disease is 'accumulation' and that is the accumulation of toxins in the brain. That is what tips us over the edge into dementia. That is what leads to our brain disease manifesting in one way or the other. Cut animal protein, it's full of fat that takes up space in our blood which reduces its ability to carry oxygen, glucose, water molecules, and other nutrients, all essential for maintaining brain health as we age. Brain health cannot be maintained in these times without us taking proper action each day to support our health and brain as we age.
