Great review, curious if there is a constant draw due to the Bluetooth. Just wondering about long term storage, say 2/3 months and how it would hold up. Thanks for taking the time to do this review.
I believe there is a very small constant draw for the Bluetooth module, but I'm not sure how much. I would recommend taking the battery to 50% or 60% for long term storage. It should do just fine. Personally I just check my voltage in storage every month or two just to make sure it doesn't discharge down too far. Lithium batteries have a very low self discharge rate. If the app allows you to turn the battery on or off I shut it off for long term storage.
Hello; I am searching for information on the battery discharge switch. When I am charging does it need to be on or off. I see that it is default "ON". When I am finished charging do I turn that off?
The battery discharge switch can be either on or off when you're charging. It has no impact on charging. If for some reason you don't want the battery go be able to discharge you can turn it off. It needs to be in the on position for you to use the power in the battery. Think of it as a battery ON / OFF switch. Hope this helps.
@@DIYHomesteadProjectsDIYHP10 I found out with Werchtay that it won't work with a laptop. Everything is cell phone now and I don't have one...No one to call or call me.
I understand and thank you for the information. Sorry it won't work. You are right, everything today seems to revolve around the cell phone unfortunately.
Whould it hurt the battery if I buy a 60 amp charger so it doesn't take as long to charge. when using the generator when we're boondocking with our rv. Our travel trailer has 1 200 watt solar panel solar package on our rv.
I purchased this battery from Amazon. I checked their description to see if it could be paired with another brand battery - they had nothing in the description. When the battery arrived right on top in the owner manual it says that it IS NOT RECOMMENDED to be paired with another brand. Now I am getting hassled with the return - am told that it is my personal preference to return and I would have to pay for the return shipping. They also said that they would deduct their original shipping cost from my refund - Amazon did not charge me shipping so why deduct shipping cost! I would not recommend buying these Litime/Amperetime batteries.

Can you monitor 2 batteries on the app?
I believe so but not at the same time I think.

@@DIYHomesteadProjectsDIYHP10 Thank you so much for the reply. That is what I needed. I understand. Thanks!
Will the monitoring app work on a windows laptop and where do you get it? I don't have a cell phone.
Sorry but I don’t know the answer to your question.

What type of charge should you use? Any links? I have this exact one
I would recommend this charger: www.litime.com/products/12v-20a-lifepo4-battery-charger?ref=DIYHP

I'd like to know that as well...
like how much will that actually degrade the battery, and how fast.@@christiansen420
So how many hours does it really go?
It took 9 hours and 15 minutes for the discharge test in the video.
Can I use a Noco genius pro 10 amp charger and get this battery fully charged? It says it works with lithium
I don't have that charger but it says it will charge lithium batteries up to 230Ah so I think it would.
