Yay! I'm so glad you loved Small Things Like These. Foster is also exquisitely beautiful in the same way. Barkis is willing! My favorite line in David Copperfield. I'm very slowly rereading it and there are so many little funny moments I forgot even from last year. 😅
I’ve heard many people say that Foster is even better than Small Things Like These, so I’m excited to try that one soon! So glad you’re enjoying your reread of David Copperfield too ❤️
Small things like these sounds amazing!! I want to add it to my tbr I love a thought provoking book😊😊😊if you stared at the wall for a few minutes after I am totally intrigued 😂😂😂
It was so good! It takes place around Christmastime, so now is a great time to read it. It’s not actually truly a Christmas book though, so you could really read it any time.
I am about a quarter of the way through David Copperfield. This is my first time reading it. There are so many fun, quirky characters 😁. My favorite part so far is when David’s Aunt Betsey tells off his awful stepfather.
Just finished Small Things Like These as an audio book. Really well written and such a satisfying endin. I will re-read David Copperfield one day. Highly recommend the audio book with Richard Armitage.
I’ve heard Small Things Like These is wonderful on audio! I’m sure David Copperfield is great on audio, but my library doesn’t have any copies available right now, so I’m alternating kindle and physical instead.
Haha well you can at least be pleased that I enjoyed a short story! It’s the first work of his I’ve actually loved the whole way through, so I feel like I’m making progress lol

Love the snow!
It was so pretty! We’ve gotten snow several times already, but it hasn’t stuck around very long, sadly.
I’ll have to check out Small Things at some point.
It’s really good!
I really enjoyed Small Things. 💕 Not my favorite of hers, but lovely nonetheless.
I keep hearing Foster is even better! I’m looking forward to reading that one too.
@ it is beautiful.
Small Things Like These is free on Audible, so I'm planning to read it this month!
I’ve heard it’s excellent on audio!
I'm on a mission to find a standalone Trollope that you will like. I do think you'd like Dr Thorne better than the others you've read.
