So beautiful and special!😍 My mom was an antique dealer so I’ve always had an appreciation for vintage & antique books. I have quite a few vintage Oz books. They are my pride and joy.
Yesss thrift stores and library sales are treasure troves!! And the experience of sifting through books is just super fun anyways lol I enjoy them both more than actual bookstores 😅
This is so cool! I love old books. That last one is amazing. Love Isaac Watts' hymns I think I have quite a few hymnals that are more than a hundred years old, but I don't know about actual books. I'll have to look. A bookseller once told me that in the late 1800s, there was a trend in the publishing industry not to put the publishing date in the book, so he usually assumes that antique books without publishing dates are from the 1880s or 90s.
How cool that you have some old hymnals! I bet those are beautiful! And thanks for the info about the dates when the year was usually not published. That helps narrow down the range for some of my books. Sounds like they’re all probably well over 100 years old!
This was a dream video❤️❤️❤️I love antique books! I love that you have some books from your grandfather 😊 such a nice collection!!
I always love to see what old books people own, so I'm glad you enjoyed seeing mine 😊 The ones that were from grandfather are my favorite!

It's such a gift to have books that are not only old, but also belonged to people who are special to us!

A book older than the Declaration of Independence 😮 That is definitely a treasure to hold on to!
Absolutely! I still can't believe someone just gave it to Peter!
