First, I want to say that I'm sorry to hear of your diagnosis. My grandma was diagnosed with it in her 40s. Luckily, treatments are much more advanced, now. I'm not a medical doctor and I strongly suggest that you consult with yours about jump rope for balance training, but I am very confident in saying that exercise is very helpful in keeping the body stronger for longer. I want you to make sure you're completely confident that you won't trip or fall while jumping rope, and that your surroundings are safe. I also highly suggest including weight training in your workouts, along with making sure to eat enough protein in your diet. I have a video about how to make sure you're getting the right amount of protein here: ruclips.net/video/mGTk4L6mZrA/видео.htmlsi=bDJHRt5qpbEv9Z8I Training with jump rope has truly been helpful to me in keeping my reflexes sharp and my cardio fitness high. Please keep me posted on your progress and what your doctor suggests. :)
