Did you know that the first of many Vekoma Boomerangs to open in the United States originated at a New Jersey boardwalk park? The Sea Serpent made it's debut in 1984, and has since been the premier attraction on Mariner's Pier. For the 2020 season, the Sea Serpent received a major refurbishment, replacing the ride's MK1200 train with a new MK 1212 train with vest restraints and magnetic braking in the station! This one is a classic OG one of the first boomerangs in North America. I remember when it used to have the orgional Arrow train back in the day.
