My parents took me and my brother down to Wildwood Crest every 4th of July for a week back in the 80's when we were kids with my cousins and aunts and uncles. We made such great memories. My wife and I have been taking my son and daughter to Wildwood Crest during 4th of July week for the past 8 years to carry on the tradition. A lot has changed, for the better, but a lot has also stayed the same which is great. We love Wildwood. I saw the tram car pass by in this video. I remember the tram car being 75 cents in the 80's and now it's $5.00. To be $5.00 literally 40 years later I guess you could consider that not too bad. But still, the price keeps going up pretty soon no one will be using the tram car.
I use to go to wildwood every summer as a child after I moved to Florida that all ended we’re taking a trip to wildwood for this first time in a couple years in August I’m excited to smell the salty air here the sounds I remember and eat the amazing food.

@@emanwalks because that's your first time there..I haven't been there in a while but..that board walk and beach should be packed..and it's not..been going there since I was a kid..so I don't know if the economy has something to do with it or not
It seems you're new to our channel. We've been offering walking tours of Wildwood from 2021 to the present. The impact of COVID was disheartening, but we've seen a steady increase in visitors each year. It's still not like the years we remember and you're referring to, but hopefully, Wildwood will return to its heyday and attract larger crowds.
