It's awesome to find people like you on RUclips that instead of just knowing how to do it, you choose to teach. Excellent tutorial. A really sincere "thank you" for you... my dear WATCHMAN!
Today my father(who works in Le Locle, Switzerland)bought me a tissot couturier but it was larger than my wrist,he didnt had to much time to chat with me because he needed to get home,he was just in visit to my university which is 230 km away from our home.So I had no idea how to reduce the size of the watch but thanks to your tutorial now my watch fits perfectly on my wrist...thank you for taking the time to do this video and guide us in learning something new.
Took 3 links out of my new Sekonda watchband quite easily after watching this video. Didn't fancy sending my new watch away through the post, so I'm well pleased. Thanks!
Thanks! I recently inherited an old watch from my grandpa who had large hands. I have small wrists, and this video enabled me to re-size the watch to fit!
Finally, a tutorial that shows the style of links that came on my watch! You even have some really inspiring music that gave me hope as I did the task. Thanks!
The jewelry store was gonna charge me $15 dollars to do this, and by watching your video you saved me $15 dollars my friend. Thank you!! Got a like as well 👍
Many, many thanks for your excellent tutorial! Before I discovered your video, I wrecked one of the superfluous links with the pair of pliers. Then I resigned and thought about visiting a watchmaker's shop and spend money :-(( ... You made my day!!! Now I can wear my new watch, it fits perfectly! 1,5 million thumbs are well-earned!
Looked at that new band and thought what in the world is this. Rather than jump in I found this video. Great Job...clear and concise. Thanks for the help.
Thanks for the clear and calm instructions. I've just shortened and adjusted my new Casio watch band (2 links out) without any fuss or frustration! Brilliant!
This tutorial saved me about $10 and I could not find this specific watch band with these locking pins...but made it so simple for me. Thank you so much to you and thank you to youtube as well. Best of regards.
I watched the video again after I already finished with my band simply because the voice combined with the music is so soothing. I think I'll sleep well tonight.
Really helpful. Just bought a brand new Sekonda watch that I needed to adjust. It was supposed ton have downloadable instructions, as they don't include any in the package. Their website says no instructions found for my model, and they say to send it off to a professional to do this kind of adjustment. With your video it took me just 5 minutes! Thanks!
Thank you! I watched a ton of other videos, but none had the same link system as my watch. It was very helpful to be able to see the way the "pins" slid into the links. I did have to tap them out with a hammer & screwdriver, as they were not budging any other way.
Terrific! I was able to adjust my son's watch band before this tutorial is even over. You have such a soothing voice and nice soothing background music choice. Thank you.
Bravo! i just a Casio Analog/Digital Solar watch as a present but it was incredibly big.. i was able to slip it off when closed, lol.. this tutorial saved me from having to take it to a jewelry store. Incredibly easy to understand, concise, and great closeups. Thank You!
Thank you for the clear video. My watch band was very different from your but I was able to figure it out using this video. I never knew the clasp was adjustable too! awesome video.
Oh my god, thank you so much!! Your video and additional comment instructions [I have a different design watch so the holes were on the bottom] were so incredibly clear and easy to follow! I've had a watch for a year and a half that I haven't been able to wear that I loved and just never found the time or was thinking about it to go to a watch repair shop. Now I removed four links per your instructions and it fits perfectly!! Thank you again!
Great video - easy to follow, clear instructions. My eyeglass screwdriver was too big but I found some pointy tool in my husbands tool box that worked to push the screws out. Saved time and money by doing it myself (and I learned a new skill!)
THANKS...wow. My husband tried to do it, he usually knows how, he said the pins must be sodered in place he could not do. (he did not know about the arrows!) So I watched your video as I had NO clue how to do this, and it took some doing getting the pins out, but I did it....so glad I bought a beautiful (not expensive) watch that was way to big, had to remove 2 or 3 links and I moved the spring thing over. Took me awhile like 90 min but hey I did it. THANKS very informative!
Casio Calculatorwatch here, 3 links too wide. Tutorial, supersmall screwdriver and a needle were all I needed. Ten minutes and I'm a happy bunny. 10/10 would watch again.
Excellent! This is clear, in-focus (unlike the one that comes up as a top search result on Google), and easy to follow. I feel confident I can do the job now. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much! I am not mechanically inclined although I am patient with details. I fixed two watches tonight!! I could not have done it without your tutorial.
Perfect video, one of the best I've seen which demonstrates clearly how to do something you're unsure of doing yourself. Other video(ists) should take note.
You rock man, thanks! Thought I was gonna have to bring it in but you explained how to do it perfectly! Saved me some money lol

Awesome!! i couldn't find a video for this kind of watches, only the ones with the little pins that jump out when you take them out! thank you very much!
Okay that was very nice. Now you need to do a series of audio books (with that same little music in the background!) so that I can buy them, and listen to them and fall asleep at night like a small warm bunny....GREAT VOICE!
it helped me to fix my watch without going out... actually i was doing it wrong way.. i was about to damage my watch... this video saved it... thanks uploader...
spent an hour trying to jimmy those pins out (mine is an ALBA and not Q&Q), but your tutorial showed me in real time how to do it! super helpful! thank you so much! :D
Thank you so much! That saved me a trip to a jewelry store and took me only 60 seconds (after I scoured the house for a paper clip ;-) I thought I'd have to remove links. Moving the spring bar on the folding clasp had not occurred to me. Brilliant!
Very much appreciate you taking the time to make this video. My watch is a different brand but it disassembles virtually identically to the one you're presenting. The 'instructions' said the link pins were intentionally difficult to remove. They were certainly right about that .. but no drift tool to fit the tiny opening. ;( Again, thank you and my anxiety level is coming down after nearly stabbing my hand trying last night never having done it, or seen it done, previously. I wish I could give you more than one thumbs up!!
Very helpful sir! Big thanks from Ireland I just got a new watch. And I'm a silversmith so I figured I could do this so, upon looking at youtr vid I definitely now know I can do this. Big thanks from Ireland 👍
Great solution, my watch band also to big. with your film as a guide i have made it smaller from my casio watch. Greetings from Amsterdam, Reinier Visser
I repair watches for a living and this has to be one of the best how to videos with very detailed instructions. well done.
An outstanding tutorial - clear vision and excellent commentary. It took me just 5 minutes to adjust my watch band on two watches. Thanks.
Your welcome Peter, glad we were able to help you.
+The Coin Outlet what do you do when your links are hammered in

Excellent tutorial.
A really sincere "thank you" for you... my dear WATCHMAN!
Finally, a clear, concise and well constructed how to video without so much unnecessary background junk and flashy effects. THANK YOU!

Brilliant video. Managed to resize my lad's new watch in ten minutes, saved me a trip to a shop and a few quid in the process. Thank you..
He wasn't lying about the eye protection. That darn spring bar flew out lol!! Thanks man! Great tutorial
Thanks to you I just adjusted mine in less than 10 minutes. Finding a metal wire or screwdriver this small is the challenge!
Finally, a tutorial that shows the style of links that came on my watch! You even have some really inspiring music that gave me hope as I did the task. Thanks!
that soothing voice...should read my bedtime stories :-)
hahahhaa !!! i was thinking it should be the voice for a relax tape or a meditational subjet or himalaya story or something !!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for this video. I've always gone to a watch repair shop to get my past watches adjusted. I hadn't realised how simple it was until now.
The jewelry store was gonna charge me $15 dollars to do this, and by watching your video you saved me $15 dollars my friend. Thank you!! Got a like as well 👍

Thank you for your clear tutorial. I removed a band-link and the watch now fits perfectly.

Thanks. Was able to shorten my watch to my wrist size successfully. Thankfully without the spring popping out.
I watched the video again after I already finished with my band simply because the voice combined with the music is so soothing. I think I'll sleep well tonight.
Clear video and a calm and practised delivery make this a very informative video. It might be a little slow in places, but you can always fast fwd.
Thanks from India , your video helped me adjusting strap length otherwise I was planning to visit any authorized watch shop. Thanks for sharing .
Thank you so much! Your demonstration was very helpful. Making the world a better place one link at a time!
Thank you so much for a clear concise video, if only other videos on the net were this good. Look and learn budding video makers.
Perfect! I watched two minutes of your video and resized my watch band in 30 seconds. Thanks for the tutorial.

A life saver for a new watch. Very clear instruction. Much better than the zero instructions that came with the watch. Thanks very much.
I couldn't find find any paper clip but the end of an ear ring worked just fine! Thank you so much for the video!
Lifesaver! Ten minutes, three links and my new watch fits perfect.
Terrific! I was able to adjust my son's watch band before this tutorial is even over. You have such a soothing voice and nice soothing background music choice. Thank you.

omg, it was tough work getting that little link holder out, but I did it thanks to your fantastic video. I'm wearing my watch now!
Paid 25 euro to get links removed in my last watch and with this i had it done myself in 5 minutes! great vid!
Oh my god, thank you so much!! Your video and additional comment instructions [I have a different design watch so the holes were on the bottom] were so incredibly clear and easy to follow! By far the best description and illustration of this job that I have seen! Well done!
Great video - easy to follow, clear instructions. My eyeglass screwdriver was too big but I found some pointy tool in my husbands tool box that worked to push the screws out. Saved time and money by doing it myself (and I learned a new skill!)
This was super clear. Had an over-sized watch band and now it fits perfectly. Thanks!

Are you implying that you like old men?
Casio Calculatorwatch here, 3 links too wide. Tutorial, supersmall screwdriver and a needle were all I needed. Ten minutes and I'm a happy bunny. 10/10 would watch again.

Perfect video, one of the best I've seen which demonstrates clearly how to do something you're unsure of doing yourself. Other video(ists) should take note.
Thanks mate! Helped me adjust a Seiko 5. I would recommend extra care to all when pushing link out to avoid damage/scratching to self or watch ;).

Awesome!! i couldn't find a video for this kind of watches, only the ones with the little pins that jump out when you take them out! thank you very much!
Exactly what I needed for my new watch to adjust. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, really helped me out, i couldn’t find another video about links like these, only those with ‘’normal’ pins
Okay that was very nice. Now you need to do a series of audio books (with that same little music in the background!) so that I can buy them, and listen to them and fall asleep at night like a small warm bunny....GREAT VOICE!
Exactly the information I needed for the style of bracelet that is on the new watch I just got. Thank you!

The time and money it saved me justified me visiting thecoinoutlet.com and buying an iPhone wallet/case. :-)
Thank you!! It was really easy with your directions. This info should come in the watch box
Very much appreciate you taking the time to make this video. My watch is a different brand but it disassembles virtually identically to the one you're presenting.
