Sixty five years old this might be the best live performance or song i have ever seen the harmonies are incredible s nobody noticed annie has no shoes on kool
This song was dedicated to my sister Sharon Hess who was. Life-long fan of Heart and specifically Nancy Wilson. She died at 21 from leukemia. Thank you for posting this reaction video and Keep the love alive.
Nancy knew that when your backing vocalist is Ann Wilson, you best bring it. She delivered a performance beyond reproach that just sent this version so far beyond the studio version. Killed it!! You hit it right on the head! These two are consumate professionals!
Heart is one of those rare bands that is better live than on the record. They elevate the music in live performances. Journey did that back in the day, too. I've had a Nancy-crush since the 70's!
This is by far the best Heart song (in my opinion). I have been blown away by Nancy Wilson since the first time I saw them live. She’s beautiful, she plays a mean acoustic guitar, and she sings like an angel 👼🏼. I just love that she gets the lead on this song. The lyrics are great, and Nancy’s vocals are amazing. ♥️✌🏼😎
This song has always been my favourite Heart song, but yes I agree, and I do love the studio version, but this has something extra that I can't quite put my finger on, but I love so much.
Love these girls. Seen them a few times live and they are outstanding. The irony of this song is that it was their first #1 Billboard hit and Ann wasn't singing. They came back with a second #1 a year later with Alone.
Tell us how you really feel 😀 The Beatles have been and will always be my favorite band. Heart is my 2nd favorite band. I'll never get tired of listening to them. Great reactionl!
Family vocals harmonies are just the best. Truly talented musicians are so awe-inspiring. Singing well while playing guitar flawlessly too. So difficult. You should do some Live Pat Benatar. For flawless guitar and amazing live vocals. The 2001 Summer Vacation Tour live videos are on RUclips.
They ate always awesome. There are several concert recordings available for you to discover. There is also a Dan Rather "The Big Interview" of heart and countless other musicians. I saw heart 3 times in their prime and the always Rocked the house down. Both women play guitars and piano, Ann is brilliant on the Flute as well. Very musical family. I think it was "The dog and butterfly" album they played all the instruments.
This later live version is much more like the original *video* than other 1980's live versions where Nancy was not only singing but rocking the guitar and both sisters had really big 1980's hair. :) All are great, don't get me wrong. This simply seems to suit the tone of the song better.
"Heartless" is a funky groove you'd enjoy, and both "Cook With Fire" and "Rockin' Heaven Down" deliver bangers. "Dog and Butterfly" and ""Love Alive" are on the more 'lovely' side. Keep digging, Biz!
Beautiful! My fav Heart song. Could you do more Oasis please 🙏 Slide Away (live at Knebworth) or Fade In Out (live at GMex) or Live Forever (live at Maine Road). Please ♡
I did a little research for you. Check out Little Queen live 1977. They are at their best and are brilliant and Nancy is crazy on guitar. A song I've been revisiting and can't get enough of is on the Dream Boat Annie album, How Deep it Goes. It will give you more chills. It is also perfect, filled with beautiful poetry. Ann is on her flute too. I hope you watch.✌
More researching on Heart. There is more great live performances Live on Second Endings. This is probably late 70s or very early 80s. They are still with the original band members. I really liked, Soul of the Sea from this concert. Enjoy!
Don't know what you've done by Heart, but you need to hit on "Even It Up", "Straight On", "Heartless", "Kick It Out", "Bebe Le Strange" and "Dog and Butterfly"
Honestly, it's why is it so perfect? But how..this is embarrassing to the trash artist we get force fed today...I don't care what your preferences are..what has happened???? Where is this..yes we know thr standouts but this was far more common 30 or 40 yrs ago now its rare..ask yourself why??‽ Many ppl already know the answer..sell outs...
Sixty five years old this might be the best live performance or song i have ever seen the harmonies are incredible s nobody noticed annie has no shoes on kool
nancy nailed it effortlessly. hope you agree.
One of the very few groups who can do it just as well live as they can in the studio!
This song was dedicated to my sister Sharon Hess who was. Life-long fan of Heart and specifically Nancy Wilson. She died at 21 from leukemia. Thank you for posting this reaction video and Keep the love alive.

I agree, this is better than the studio version. - Simply stunning!!!!!
I'm with you. That was angelic. Love the Wilson sisters.
I agree. I really prefer Nancy's voice here over the studio version. Great performance!
She said she had a cold and gave her a raspy voice in studio
Same
Same here

I’m with you, man. I love this performance.

Wow yes, definitely better than studio version, what a revelation.
My reaction exactly :)
My thoughts too! I've been a Heart fan since 1987 when I was a teen, so great to see how well they can do this live even decades later. pure talent.
Yep
This song has always been my favourite Heart song, but yes I agree, and I do love the studio version, but this has something extra that I can't quite put my finger on, but I love so much.

The reason that the music of 60's to mid 90's is so perfect, because it was about talent, skills and class. That is what is missing out of music today
I always say that's the sweetspot of American music. I wouldn't blame you if you put the mid-'50s to the mid-'90s, but whatever. Cheers
That was incredible! Thanks I've never seen this performance
Nancy is so underrated.
Thanks for this!! I’d never seen this live version. It is . . . Perfect!
This song is like a great big hug.
I've seen them five or six times, the last time in 2019 always a great show.
I love it❤❤❤❤❤❤
Green’s From Chile dude
👏👏👏👏👏 Wow, nice performance. Definitely better than the studio version.
And this song is so crafted, it's just art. Love 'em.
We were at the show. Just sayin'✌️💯🤘
I think this is the most beautiful song I have ever heard. Nancy is definitely more than a guitar player, which she is one of the world's best.
wilson sisters are awesome
Simply beautiful.
This live is better than their studio version! ❤
Took me a while to realize Heart actually did this song, it's pretty unique. It's like how Fleetwood Mac made "Little Lies" lol
i love this it is perfect
Yes! So good. Love your genuine reaction. ❤️
I was there..they were still making great music and still are today
Tell us how you really feel 😀 The Beatles have been and will always be my favorite band. Heart is my 2nd favorite band. I'll never get tired of listening to them. Great reactionl!
Wow I love this!
This became my favorite Heart song after I watched this incredible live performance for the first time.
The songs Mistral Wind and Love Alive from this show are both amazing.
They are amazing. Great reaction man
Good band. I saw them once back in 78. It was a fun gig.
☮️🤘🤙
Little Brother... had to laugh at your reaction... the Wilson girls make melt too!!!

Gotta love it 10 yes they're great live
Nancy would have been the lead singer of any band that didn’t have Anne in it.
Awesome Biz! Watch Dog and Butterfly from the same concert!
I like this live performance more than the studio!

This same concert you need to listen to minstrel wind. Outstanding
It’s funny how when I was younger I didn’t like this song. I understand it now, and love it. Such a heart felt song.
This whole DVD rocks....

Let me guess....... you really liked this video 😋
I don't blame you. This was excellent

You’ll never believe that John STAMOS sang this before them
I was wrong... it’s ALONE that STAMOS sang first
☮️💜
You look a little like mike Tyson yes their always this good live peace from Brooklyn New York
Don't know what you've done by Heart, but you need to hit on "Even It Up", "Straight On", "Heartless", "Kick It Out", "Bebe Le Strange" and "Dog and Butterfly"
Try, Dog and Butterfly, from the same show
