BG3 take on hexblades is amazing in every aspect (well, mb with auto extra attack a bit overbuff but whatever).
imagine this case for 5e - it gives every warlock opportunity to have this "gish" gameplay and it literally fixes absolute madness of "charisma-based classes friendship" for multiclassing. Now you need to dip for 3 levels to get this desirable "weapon attack as spellcasting ability" thing so no cheating with just 1 level - and this "hexblade"-ish thing now more aligned with how it works with all other classes. And it unlocks so much more fun builds with features of different warlock subclasses! Amazing, really.

I would love to see a 5e build based entirely on getting as many bodies on the board as possible. The only metric that matters is *how many* reanimations/summons/companions you can get in the order, quality be dammed.

I got Shart's base con to 17 and increased it to 18 with rescon. +1 to con saves and up to 12 hp are probably worth the -1 to either cha or int saves

There’s a lot of peeps doing BG3 reviews but it’s tough to watch when you realize who’s never played D&D.
I like yours and the other D&D community channels better
