Does anyone know if this is about a known act of self-immolation that happened in Palestine around 1994? That seems to be what JD is describing, but I can't find any historical event that lines up with it.
I looked into it. I didn't see any self-immolation acts that happened in Palestine that year. There was one that happened in the middle east, but it was about women having to wear headscarfs in Iran again.
