She works at a hospital and she’s acting like she has no clue about how to go about making appointments, how to even get to the hospital, how to go around the hospital and also trying to find a hospital that is by her??!! Just go to the hospital where you work dummy! She knows that’s making people mad because she is a nurse and works at a full on hospital and should have no dumb excuses on how to take care of her 3rd child!!

I’ve mentioned this in other videos but she had money to dye highlight her hair but not $35 for a jacket for a child in freezing cold weather. I have a child and I would rather starve, walk bare foot, ride the bus or walk, let my roots grow in… before i take away a basic necessity from my child that I chose to have. She’s sick, whether or for clout or not, just having the thought is sickening.

    • @DanielkaElliott

It was heartbreaking basically seeing him begging for the blanket and she's like "you can't have it because it's cold". Lady. What. She really resents that child and is definately not someone who should've had kids. The fact she thinks this is "realistic" means probably everyone on her irl social bubble is probably some level of toxic and it's easy to believe because her willingness to defend her husband's financial abuse as a joke just shows that nothing about her community or sense of realistic normality is healthy. Its kinda sad seeing her spend more then 35 on a sandwich while not really feeding or clothing her son adequately. Idk if a deer is a good return on $2000 of hunting equipment but I do think that because he's mainly off camera it sort of dulls people's appreciation of what level of trash he is. Both of them are totally failing as parents and shouldn't be allowed to procreate. Like she comes across as so angry and resentful and the "positive" bits very much given "toxic positivity" because there's nothing ok about her situation or either of their behaviour. I feel like she'd be very bitter at being called angry because it's "unladylike" but the level of denial you have to have about the state of your life to donate tithes while your child is irregularly eating random scraps and freezing in the winter.

She strikes me as someone who became a nurse and a mom not because she wanted to be a caregiver but because she wanted the title/status. The month she posted their tithing they made almost $6k for the month. She rounded up and gave her church $600 even. They're doing fine, the $35 coat and the diapers not getting changed are not a matter of funds. I live on far less in a warmer state and my kids have new winter coats each year. I changed their diapers as needed. Those are NEEDS, you do what you gotta do and PROVIDE.

When I was pregnant with my second son, I felt so confident that he was okay and healthy, especially since they would tell me he was growing big and had a very good strong heart. My 34 week appointment, I was late and had to reschedule. I thought “Oh he’s been good and why would I need to go if he’s been nothing but ok?” So instead of rescheduling for the next day i said i’d just go the next week (my clinic was an hour away and the appt i missed was a Thursday, so id have to wait till Tuesday). 2 days later I noticed I hadn’t felt him kick ALL DAY. When i brought this up to my husband and family, it was midnight, they all said to wait till the next day and i was probably being dramatic. I did not sleep, I only cried and cried begging him to move so i’d feel stupid for worrying. In the morning my husband left to work, but within an hour I called him back to bring me to the hospital. I called my OB and he ALSO said the baby was just being lazy and that i was freaking myself out, but i could go to the nearest hospital if i was really that scared. My husband was upset he left work, because WHY would the baby not be ok? Well, worst day of my fucking life. The nurse did an ultrasound. She looked panicked got the doctor, the doctor did it again and her face told me. She couldn’t find a heartbeat. I cannot explain the pain that I felt in this moment. I was screaming like my leg was ripped off slowly. And one of the things swirling around my mind, aside fron the grief of my son, was that it was MY FAULT for missing the appointment. If i went, he would probably still be fine. I cannot imagine not going until 30 weeks, thank god her baby is fine. But I learned not going even one day makes a difference. I never missed an appointment for my 3rd son, after that I never trusted that he was ok fully in my belly, let alone trusted for 30 WEEKS.

Thank you for talking about this issue. I’ve not heard of this woman. I’ve lived in three states, but have spent a collective 30 years in Utah. And I’m heartbroken to say that this behavior is pervasive through out the culture of this state, especially within the Mormon community. I see this type of abuse, and neglect towards children on a weekly basis. Having children is not seen as a choice, but a duty. And then the children become a burden to young parents. Who then take it out on their children because they themselves haven’t healed from their own trauma, or learned skills on how to cope. Children are not seen as individuals to be protected, nurtured, and respected here. They are seen as property (as are the women) to be controlled . And so the cycles of abuse, low self worth, scarcity mentality, and neglect continue. I’m happy to see that James might have a different experience with intervention. But like I said, I see this at least weekly, and it breaks my heart every time. 😢

The interactions between them like how they share food, how he flicks chips away from his child, how he blocks he acces to money she earns and spends his paycheck on hunting equipment and never helps with cooking or cleaning or childcare beyond "helping" by spanking his kid. Like it seems so callow and cruel to refuse to buy her clearly cold child a coat and postponing to find something cheaper second hand, because it is, but you do get the sense she' be a better happier parent apart from him with some sort of input from social service about what qualifies as "realistic" and what is actually called "abuse". She is very young too. I guess rhe thing that seems the most irreparably worrying to me is that she keeps saying "obviously i love my kid" when it isnt obvious necause she seems cold and angry and cruel and her little boy seems to be afraid of both his parents on some level (flinching) while obviously also being a little kid who wants attention and food and is attached to the only parents he knows.

I can’t even count the number of times as a kid that I got a coat from the Mormon storehouse or a coupon to get a free coat from the DI (Deseret Industries, which is a thrift store chain owned by the church).

IMO She shouldn’t be a nurse or a mother honestly. If you’re not prepared to spend money on necessities like diapers, prenatal vitamins or prenatal care, DON’T HAVE CHILDREN. I agree that kids don’t need name brand clothing or expensive things, but they absolutely need clean diapers, a clean home, healthcare and FOOD THEY WONT CHOKE ON! That part really got me. One of the first cases I was called to at the hospital was a 3 year old choking on a SLICE of cooked carrot! I watched in absolute horror with his Mom while they repeatedly worked on that tiny child to bring him back. And sadly he was not able to be saved. It was devastating! Children are resilient yet so very fragile and precious.

I’m an RN and I love and value lvn/lpn’s, techs, and all the other medical professionals. BUT an intelligent and self aware LPN who has only worked in nursing homes would know better than to pretend they’re knowledgeable about an entirely different area of medicine they’ve never been in. Her 9 months of schooling that mainly covers performing tasks and doesn’t dive deeper into the why’s and how’s of meds, conditions, bloodwork, etc., is why someone with her limited knowledge base and lack of understanding should be questioned. And there are LVN’s (I’m in Texas) who know way more than me and have been a nurse for 40 years, BUT they also don’t misinform people about things they don’t know.

I’ve been with my partner for 4 years, not only is he the one that pointed out that I twitch and flinch even in my sleep if he moves slightly, but he’s the reason I don’t anymore. 38 and it took all this time for thst to stop.

It's not rage bait. That's just who she is as a person, we can see especially in her demeanor whenever she comes to clarify what she says. She rolls her eyes subtly every few seconds and always has this "I literally have never done that!" attitude. It's the classic highschool mean girl to nurse pipeline attitude.

When I worked as admin in healthcare we recruited nurses and we always had two types:
    1) The one who would be doing it regardless of the "nurse" label. It's in their blood to be compassionate and they go above and beyond for their patients and any other people who they come across who may need help. You name it, they help it. It's not even their second nature, it's their primary nature. During COVID they worked 24/7 because it was the right thing to do.
    2) The one who was very obviously only doing the job for the "nurse" label. They make a big deal about the fact they're there at all, talk about being a nurse to anyone who will listen and take every perk, discount and benifet they can get. You even get ones where they don't turn up when they're not getting enough perks. Not compassionate at all to anyone they "care" about (one of them was very proud of the fact she kicked out her 10 year old step-son). They always have some story where someone else is the asshole. You get the idea. You can guess what they did during COVID lol.
The good nurses are always running around after the bad nurses because the only reason the bad ones would be hired is because we needed x amount of nurses on duty. I bet the staff who work with her fucking hate her.
So yeah, unfotunately just because a person is a nurse doesn't mean they are a good person. We need to really scrutinise any person who is going to be in a position of power over vulnerable people. The worst of the worst go in to these types of jobs on purpose.

The kid watching them eat with them not giving a flying care is truly heartbreaking 😢. My kids are 12 & 9; I only eat after they eat. I feel guilty eating if they haven’t eaten. I even sacrifice my morning coffee and make their breakfast first before I sit down to enjoy my cup. What’s wrong with that woman? Did she not want to have those kids?!!

I could understand that they're not allowing the kid to eat directly from their plates, I can even understand that they don't want their babies to eat the same things they're eating (because those are not healthy at all and might be too spicy for a child), but they could order or make him his own food. Their son is crying watching his parents eat, he looks hungry, so feed him!

I first saw Hannah on Facebook because I’m a medical staff and I find content from other medical staff interesting. This was far before the whole 17 diapers situation. I didn’t like her less than a month after seeing any of her content because I saw SEVERAL instances of her fucking up medpass at her job. I pass meds at my own job and she has horrible habits for medpass. I watched her several times dump a pill or two from the bottle into the cap to then dump them in the pill cup - and they didn’t make it into the med cup but she just didn’t check and didn’t notice so she moved on.
I WATCHED HER make SEVERAL med errors because she didn’t double check a damn thing. Who knows what meds they were and the potential consequences of that. It rubbed me the wrong way deeply so much that I showed my fiancé and ranted about it. Once the 17 diapers thingy happened and I realized it was her I reminded my fiancé and she remembered me bringing this up and showing her fucking up the medpasses. My fiancé is an LPN new grad who has done CNA work for almost 2 years by the way.
Long story short, there are soooooo many reasons I don’t respect her as a nurse/mother/content creator/person.
    -irresponsible nursing habits
    -irresponsible medical staff content
    -child neglect
    -child abuse

Like, I’d be worried about miscarriage, SIDS, whooping cough, etc. Things that arent even in my control, let alome the things SHE is neglecting to make her kids life worse. Absolutely astounding.

I had my oldest daughter very very young and I didn’t take any prenatal vitamins at all and it’s been one of my BIGGEST REGRETS… my poor daughter has severe autism, so many different mental health issues, as well as other things… and I have always linked it at least partially to not taking my vitamins. With my other children I did and they have no issues. PLZ TAKE YOUR VITAMINS AND GET PRENATAL CARE. It’s vital to your health and your baby’s.

This is wrong on so many levels. Everytime i decide to get food outside and my kids are with me, I always order their own plate or get a bigger portion to share with my kids. Even if they've just finished daycare and they've already eaten, I'd feel bad just buying food for only myself and have my kids watch me eat. I don't care if my kids need a nap, I have to make sure they eat something before they sleep, or if they sleep before their lunch, I'll have lunch ready for them as soon as they wake up. This is so heart breaking and I pray Little James gets the justice he needs 🙏🏾

I get it. It’s expensive to see a doc without insurance. It’s expensive to get prenatal visits WITH insurance. But if you’re allowing yourself to get pregnant and you care about the baby’s health or your own health, why wouldn’t you be going in? Sometimes it’s cheaper to self pay anyway.

It's crazy how these women will call CPS/DCS over bs and suspicion, but I'm fairly confident they wouldn't dare make a call if they thought someone was dealing with domestic violence. You never hear about others calling in due to their suspicion of domestic violence. It's the same concept. Double standard.
